Mei Jen is a one minute walk from Shuishe Visitor Center/Bus Station. The mom and daughter went out of their way to help. My shoes got wet from the rain. They moved them from the rack and put them on a dehumidifier to help them dry. They sent me a message to let me know. They answered all my questions about the area and the bus schedule. My room had a balcony with a partial view of the lake. The room had a sitting area with a love seat. The bed was comfortable. Shampoo and shower gel were provided. The shower had great water pressure and plenty of hot water. The B&B has a washer and dryer. They have shared refrigerators and water dispensers on each floor. There is an elevator. The breakfasts were good with different options each morning. There is a rooftop terrace. A 7/11 is across the street.

The room was clean, quite big and the bathroom has dryer and really high tech. The hosts (oh my God) are very helpful and always try to make our stay comfortable. They are very friendly and always try to show you good places to visit. Really really really love their hospitality. English was obviously not their first language, but boy they really tried their best to communicate with us. And I must say they did a really good job. I don't have problem understanding them.

The room is the most spacious on my trip to Taiwan, amongst at least 7 other hotels. It is also nicely decorated. The location is great - it is within walking distance to the lake and the temple. The host is very friendly. You get a breakfast coupon that can be redeemed for a take-away burger or omelette and a drink at a particular shop down the street. Note however that there is no lift. You can store your luggage at the reception after you check out. Overall, a very nice place to stay at!

The room was excellent, with the beautiful straight view to the lake and maybe to a wonderful sunrise if the weather was not so cloudy. The hosts were excellent, with a little help from google translate. They were kind and considerate, and were excellent cooks too. Will definitely give it another go in the future.
