Mkoani is more than a homestay - it's truly a home. Dee is by far the best host that we've met on our travels (not to mention an amazing cook!), and made us feel so welcome, just like family. The space is stunning, with a large, clean, well designed room, a beautiful garden for relaxing, and delicious breakfast every morning. It is an oasis a few minutes outside of town. Dee helped us organize all of our trips in Moshi for really great prices and welcomed us into her community of friends. She went above and beyond to make sure every detail of our stay was perfect. We loved our stay so much that we extended, and wish we could have stayed longer! Thank you so much to Dee, Far, Peter (who owns the Mama Africa gift shop in town - don't miss it, it has everything!), and Muddy (the BEST bajaji driver in Tanzania) for making our stay so perfect. We hope to come back to visit, and wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

Everything, from hotel pickup to breakfast and drop off, at Shimbwe Meadows you are not a guest but a family member, Beatus has an exceptional human relations, and Jane will bother you positively to make sure your belly action is not left unchecked. If you need a site of mount Kilimanjaro, this is the best location. I enjoyed my stay. I left my wallet at the property and Beatus was so kind to drive back to deliver. This was purely a home to stay, green environment and get some thick clothes it gets cold

The place is great, lots of space In the room To set up all your gears before Kili hike. Peter is a fantastic host and he can help you with everything you need. The place is close by two super yummy restaurants which is great. The breakfast is great with eggs, fruits and toast and a very yummy coffe! All in all I had a great time even though it was short and I would definitely recommend it!

Far's house is so nice, spacious, beautiful and calm. It's decorated beautifully and the beds are really comfortable. Everything is so clean - the house is cleaned everyday so I felt such at ease in Far's house and it was truly quiet and peaceful but close enough to Moshi Town.

We love Kisanga Homestay- the staff is wonderful and accommodating. The food is excellent! Upenda is a fantastic chef! The rooms are clean and have everything you need! Andersen was so helpful with anything we needed. The Kisanga area is so peaceful and a nice change of pace from Moshi town, as well. This was our first time at Kisanga homestay. Anderson and Upenda treated us like family. We will always stay here when in Moshi!

The kindness of our host, it was super cool to chat with her in the evening. The dinner (6$) and breakfast were also excellent. Shared bathroom of good quality. No air con, but a very good fan.
