I got in very late and felt super bad about disturbing the household. Being a new user of Booking, entry communication was unclear to me (my bad) causing inconvenience to those on the premises. What was really great was how nice everyone was at helping me get in! I had spent the day traveling from Europe, was over tired and it could have gone really wrong, but host was very gracious.

The comfort was exceptional, the house is admirable; I am dreaming to stay bay at any time I have to be close to this castle. I plan to refer any friend coming to this area to tell about my one day enjoyable it was.

Truly enjoyed my stay here with my family. A nice sized house with still an intimate and at home setting. Was able to comfortably accommodate me and my family visiting. There were 8 of us total and we were more than happy. The place is clean, the parking is huge definitely fits more than 5 cars! We could cook our own food, there was everything we needed in the kitchen. We liked there area on the first floor, the TV doesn’t have cable, but has Netflix and other apps which was perfectly fine with us! There are additional charges as stated on the description, for deposit and hot tub etc. The house was nice and warm, just let the host know what temperature you like and it can be adjusted per room which is really cool.

Really close to Newark airport and New York, with no traffic it took us less then 30 minutes to get there from the center. Very cozy and welcoming, the host send us some messages to check if everything was all right. It’s worth the money and much better and cheaper than staying in the hotel. We could cook our own food, there was everything we needed in the kitchen, there was parking, so we had a good experience! We liked there area on the first floor, the TV doesn’t have cable, but has Netflix abc other apps which was perfectly fine with us! There is a hot tub, which was amazing for a winter night and worth the $50 fee! Very clean and we felt that the house is very well kept. There are a lots of supermarkets close by ( Walmart, ShopRite) and there are some good restaurants too. The neighborhood is safe and quiet.

Shower was filthy, there was no AC as advertised, the photos do not match the reality of the booking. There was no privacy shade on the hot tub as advertised in the photos. The fire pit area looked nothing like the photos. I paid extra for the hot tub and we did not use it because we did not stay. They are refusing to refund me. I told them that day after seeing the dismal condition of everything that we would not be staying. They put a little desk fan on the floor and tried to say that it is air conditioning.

It’s a very nice place! We loved it, cute, cozy, had everything we needed for our short stay! Everything was as stated in the description, so there were no surprises for us. The ceiling is kind of low, but we are not tall so was not a problem . The location is excellent, 7 minutes from Newark Airport, can’t bit it! Easy transportation to NYC with the express bus, you get right to 42nd street, much more convenient then going by car. The parking was shared, but communication was excellent. We used the hot tub and it was great. Make sure to read the full description and the rules, there are additional charges for the hot tub, which is fine and it was worth it! There is a kitchenette, so don’t expect to have a full size oven, however , there was a BBQ GRILL outside, so we had some BBQ and enjoyed the fire pit, which was quite romantic.
