Starlight Inn features mountain views, free WiFi and free private parking, located in Sigchos. Featuring a shared kitchen, this property also provides guests with a terrace. The host, Victor, was so helpful and patient with my questions. The bed was comfortable, the setting was gorgeous. Also the food!!! There Was so much of it and it kept coming. This was the best food I've eaten on this trip so far.

Hostal Doña Clarita & Vegetarían Food is a recently renovated homestay in Chugchilán, where guests can make the most of its open-air bath and garden. Lovely family-run hostel, ideal stop especially for vegetarians as Doña Clarita cooks excellent veggie food, often of the kind that is hard to come by in Ecuador, such as chickpea curry. When it gets cold, there is a hearth to ignite a proper Hygge atmosphere. Coffee round the clock, cuddly cat and two dogs included!

With mountain views, Hostal el Vaquero is set in Chugchilán and has a restaurant, a 24-hour front desk, bar, garden, sun terrace and children's playground. Location (far from the main road and really next to the trek path), the room was comfy, dinner and breakfast nice, the Turkish baths and the sauna are good for the muscles after the hike, the owners are adorable.

Hostal Taita Cristobal is a recently renovated guest house in Isinliví, where guests can make the most of its garden and terrace. This was day 1 for my gf and me coming from the quilatoa loop trek. We were so tired arriving but was very nice to be welcomed by the staff of this place. The room was simply but that was exactly what we needed; a place to crash after a long days hike. The view from the porch was breathtaking. The dinner and breakfast were awesome. We ordered a couple box lunches for day 2 of the quilatoa loop trek. I couldn't have asked for anything better to fuel us on your trek. Thank you! You guys were great!

Hostal backpackers is set in Chugchilán and features a shared lounge. With quiet street views, this accommodation features a patio. Walter and Narcisa were so kind to us! It felt more like a home stay than a hostal. They even arranged a special breakfast for my husbands birthday! I would absolutely recommend this hostal to anyone! The shower was hot, the beds were comfortable, and the food was delicious. There is also a lovely patio space upstairs.

Beautiful property, modern and clean, the best we've stayed at during our trip in Ecuador. The host is amazing. Breakfast was big and delicious.

Situated in Lasso, La casa de los abuelos features accommodation with access to a garden. Free WiFi is provided throughout the property. Oh, my regrets of not booking this place longer. This was a wonderful location for my family. Safe, Secure, Clean, and Fun. Close to Cotapoxi for hiking and other outdoor adventures. Lovely place that the pictures of the dwelling do not do suffucicent justice. Plenty of space and washrooms. Even secure outdoor location for entertainment. Blankets are nice and warm. Really, book this place for a longer stay then we did.

La Posada Del Viajero offers rooms in Latacunga. The property features quiet street views. Free WiFi, a 24-hour front desk and a concierge service are featured. The location is great as it is walking distance from the bus terminal and the market! The owner has been extremely helpful giving me tips and advice for my day hikes to Quilotoa and Cotopaxi. I recommend as a stop if you plan those hikes, you will also meet people to team up with if you are looking for buddies :).
