Super friendly and welcoming. Davide the son runs fantastic tours of the caves and Semuc Champey. The bedrooms and shared bathrooms were nice and clean. No kitchen but there is an onsite restaurant serving reasonably priced tasty food (good portions). Great value for money.

Wonderful little oasis in the jungle just outside Coban. If you plan to visit Orchigonia and/or if you prefer a quiet place near Coban, it’s perfect! Beds are pretty hard but Otto and family were lovely, the food was good and it was a perfect first stop for us after an overnight flight. Just ask the bus to drop you at Orchigonia turnoff.

Set 30 minutes from Lanquín, 45 minutes from Semuc Champey, Mountain Nest provides an accommodation in a remote mountain setting outside of Lanquin. what is not to like! gorgeous location, incredible views. this place was the highlight of our trip to Guatemala. Cabin decorated and stocked with everything you need, the owners have really thought about the little things. seeing sunrise was very special, definitely a trip highlight. Owners were excellent, incredibly attentive and made our stay as special as possible. the lunch with the local family was very special as well, food was amazing. We cooked here and ordered food through the owners which was amazing. Remy and Darina are amazing cooks!! They have 2 dogs who are very well trained and make the stay extra special if you like dogs!! Flecky (?) is the cabin dog and is very cute but very well trained.

The staff were all helpful and nice. The dorm is just a set of bunk beds so I had a private room for the night. Warm shower. The breakfast was the best I've had at any hotel/hostel ever. There is a kitchen guests can use but they charge Q20 to use it. They helped me with the bus to Lanquín and transport from Lanquín to Antigua, but it would have been Q25 cheaper to book the transport to Antigua in Lanquín. And if you book a shuttle in Lanquín they pick you up and you don't have to go to the bus stop yourself.

Located in Cobán, in a building dating from 2018, Hotel Bethel features a terrace and guestrooms with free WiFi. The guest house provides a shared lounge. Very friendly and helpful staff. The rooms are clean with hot shower in bathroom and a reliable WiFi signal. Centrally located with many shops and restaurants around.

It's right in town so it's easy to come and go everywhere. The room was clean and comfy but the best part is the staff, specially Jorge, alway very helpfull and nice.

Offering a natural pool, shuttle service and a restaurant, Greengos Hotel is located in Semuc Champey Lanquin, 486 meters from the Park entrance. At Greengos Hotel you will find a garden and a bar. Amazing hostel/hotel. Staff and people are very nice and helpful with anything you want to do here. You can walk to the national park and the hostel itself organizes a cave tour which I would recommend both! Take at least to nights here and you’ll find the perfect oasis. I do not really understand other comments mentioning expensive food/drinks. Maybe its because they charge you all at the end and people loose track
