Juma is a really nice place to stay. Very nice apartments (mine had a really nice balcony) with beautiful view on Toba lake. Best of staying at Juma was the owner Pino, who made me feel at home, and made an itenary for me every morning when I rented a scooter and traveled the area.

Toba Sunset features free WiFi. Each room has a balcony with views of the lake, rice fields and the surrounding mountains in Tuk Tuk. At Toba Sunset every room is fitted with a seating area. A true paradise on earth. We extended our stay three times! Lovely lovely place with lovely people.

First of all, the staff of Romlan is very friendly and helpful. They even helped us with calling and getting to the local pharmacy to get some medicines for sickness (one of us got ill and they called the pharmacy that was closed due to the Sunday Service and they opened up the pharmacy for us). The food and drinks of their own restaurant were amazing and very tasty & variable; good price value as well! The location of Romlan is also good: the boat drops you off at their pier and all the things in Tuk Tuk are on walking distance. The views from the rooms and restaurant are amazing. If you want to hire a scooter bike you can without signing for anything and you don't have to fuel up the tank (when you get the bike, the tank is full). A free refill water station is available and also some tips & tricks about the surroundings of Romlan and the transport options from Lake Toba to other places like Berastagi or Medan. Definitely recommended to book your stay at Romlan when you are looking for a place to stay in Tuk Tuk.

Offering a peaceful retreat amidst natural greenery, Horas Family Home is located in Tuk Tuk area on Samosir Island. Guests enjoy a direct access to Lake Toba and free WiFi. Great hosts, very nice location right next to the lake with fantastic facilities, kayaking, fishing, nice little rabbits and vegetables in the garden.

Set in Tuk Tuk, Leokap Homestay has free WiFi throughout and a garden to relax. Rooms are fitted views and a private bathroom with a shower. Guests can enjoy daily breakfast. Great place to stay on Samosir Island. Good rooms for decent prices, located at a quiet and nice garden with a view on the lake. Also good working wifi inside the room. In their restaurant, opposite the road, they serve breakfast, lunch and dinner. You can also rent a scooter which is very usefull at Samosir if you want to make excursions by yourself. And a friendly and helpfull host. What more do you need?

Offering direct access to Toba Lake, Toba Village Inn is set amidst a natural landscape. It boasts an outdoor pool with stunning views of the lake and Pusuk Buhit Mountain. Very comfortable beds, good lake view, staff were fantastic
