I wish I had words to describe this place, this accommodation, the people we found and met here! But I don't know if I will succeed, because, without a doubt, it was the most beautiful place where we have been in our entire life so far, as experienced travelers!What I felt when I arrived here cannot be described in words - I can try to say that I found Paradise on Earth!A small island, four bungalows, two on the beach, two on the water, dream views, the music of the ocean and the orchestra of jungle birds, underwater creatures of all shapes and colors right under the bungalows, a rich, fresh, young, clean reef, toilets and private shower, perfectly balanced food, fresh, unrepeatable, tasty, electric cleaner all the time provided by solar panels, wi-fi, and above all a team of wonderful people!The owner, Mr. Andy, loves this place and it shows in every thing he touches, in all the stories he tells you (if you ask him!). An extremely pleasant company, the silent partner of the team! The soul and heart of this place is Moana=Vayana, as I called it the first moment I saw it! She is Miss Esny, as I call her or Mantaray;s Queen (no one feels them and finds how she does it). She is a total joy from morning to night, a man who loves nature, who is ready to go in an adventure, whether it's the same or a new one, never forget to enjoy it, to protect you, to guide you, to help you know, to see, to feel the ocean and its wonders!We won a truly unique experience, a friendship for life, with a lot of admiration, respect, the desire for good and to return! Facing the seafront in Yennanas Besir, Amfriwen Homestay features a private beach area and a garden. The property offers free private parking. The guest house has family rooms. La posizione è incantevole su una spiaggia bianca e il mare quasi sotto la palafitta con l'alta marea. Il mare è sempre calmissimo e il rumore dell'onda di marea che sale ti culla tutta la notte. L'acqua è bassa e a circa 100 m a destra delle palafitte il reef è veramente a poche bracciate dalla battigia così che anche i nuotatori meno esperti possono nuotare tra i pesci. Attualmente ci sono (per fortuna) solo due palafitte attrezzate solo con 2 letti queen size ciascuna molto ben protetti da reti antizanzare. A proposito di zanzare, temevamo molto peggio ma alla fine c'erano meno zanzare che da noi in città. Il "bungalow" è preceduto da una terrazza coperta con due sedie e un'amaca e un filo per stendere. A sinistra della scaletta in legno che sale al bungalow c'è un rubinetto con acqua corrente (non potabile) per lavar via la sabbia che regna sovrana. La corrente elettrica funziona dalle 18.00 alle 6.00 della mattina, cosa che permette di ricaricare i cellulari ecc. Sul sito c'è scritto che non c'è internet. Se si compra una sim card locale si può navigare tranquillamente, ovviamente non c'è il wifi ma noi abbiamo usato un cellulare con una sim card locale come hub e abbiamo navigato in tre senza problemi. Nell'importo del bungalow è compresa la pensione completa ovvero una colazione con te o caffè con acqua bollente di un termos, piatti salati della tradizione locale ma poi abbiamo scoperto e avuto banane fritte e frutta. Per pranzo e cena il menu era molto semplice anche se la padrona di casa ha veramente cercato di variare il più possibile: tanto riso bollito e scondito, pesce (ovviamente freschissimo) e pollo grigliati, melanzane e fagiolini soprattutto. Abbiamo anche scoperto le frittelle di mais fritte che, cosparse di zucchero, somigliano alle nostre frittelle di mela. La famiglia che gestisce i bungalow quasi non parla inglese ma sorridono e cercano di aiutare come possono.

Situated in Pulau Mansuar in the West Papua region, Terimakasih homestay has a garden. This property offers access to a terrace, free private parking and free WiFi. The property offers sea views. Wow, where to begin? We didn't have much expectations coming to Terimakasih, but the stay completely exceeded any expectation we could have formed. The pictures on booking don't do the property justice; the cabins, view, restaurant, general facilities were all excellent. The staff was so friendly, and always ready to help. They cleaned the cabin daily and we got banana fritters as snack in the afternoon (still dreaming about them). It was so relaxing in the hammock on the porch, and it wasn't hot with the breeze from the ocean. It was my happy place for a small week. The house reef was colourful and full of fish. In the evening we saw bioluminesence around the cabin in the water. As far as homestays go- this one outshines them (speaking for experience). I'd rather you didn't book so there will always be a place for me, but I understand if you do based on this review :) It has all the ingredients for a wonderful vacation. Thanks, Mario + team.

Situato a Saonek, a 800 m dalla spiaggia Waisai Torang Cinta. La Sandy Guest House Raja Ampat offre sistemazioni con salotto in comune, un parcheggio privato gratuito, un giardino e una terrazza. The property is sectioned off into small apartment style blocks, it has a separate bathroom, living space and kitchen/bathroom. It’s clean, has working air conditioning and decent wi-fi.

Situato a Kri, il Turtle Homestay offre sistemazioni con balcone. Situata sul lungomare, questa struttura vanta un giardino e una terrazza. Great food! Ensuite bathroom and very welcoming staff! I have to give a special mention to the dive shop run by Will and Rufus. I was diving the first week with soul scuba, as I had a reservation and for the last 3 days I switched to turtle dive. Diving with Will and Rufus was just so much cooler and personal. Great rental equipment and they bring you to the good action packed dive spots. It was amazing, so if diving is your top priority in Raja Ampat dont hesitate and dive with Turtle.

Situated in Fam in the West Papua region, Meos Ambower Homestay Raja Ampat has a balcony. This pet-friendly homestay also has free WiFi. We had a marvellous stay with Nick at Meos Ambower. The bungalows over the water with the house reef right in front is extraordinary. Baby reefsharks visiting, swimming underneath, a beautiful sunrise and sunset right in front is a dream come true. The common room has excellent 360degree view over the beautiful reef. Plenty of food options and always fresh. The staff is super friendly, helpful and always ready to go on an adventure. We went swimming with the mantas, which is just a 10 minute boat ride from the homestay. Cristal clear emerald blue water and playful mantas. We had a fabulous stay and will definitely visit again! We truly enjoyed our entire stay in Gibran’s home stay, what a fabulous week in paradise! The accommodation is simple and very comfortable, we loved Mama Oca’s food as well as the hospitality and friendliness of the owner and staff. Of course, diving and snorkeling is amazing, right in front of the bungalow on the house reef.
