The property is very thoughtfully designed and maintained. For instance, there are freshwater showers outside the water bungalows and spaced out slats in the jetty for the water to drain immediately. The linen and towels were very clean and smelled very fresh. The bread was freshly baked by the owner every morning. The coral life at the jetty is amazing and we could snorkel endlessly.

In other reviews I read there are not activities and actually if you are a bit adventurous, not 100 mtrs swimming from there, you can snorkel and you will find turtles, sharks and a beautiful coral reef around. Be prepared to be connected with nature, lot of birds and very tasty and generous portions of food. Facing the seafront in Yennanas Besir, Amfriwen Homestay features a private beach area and a garden. The property offers free private parking. The guest house has family rooms. We enjoyed our stay at Amfriwen. The bungalow was clean, had a fan, a mosquito net and a little shelf space. The veranda and the view were amazing. The bathroom was outside and for us one of the better facilities during our stay in Raja ampat. The food was very simple but always enough. We enjoyed our stay and say thank you to the lovely family.
