Everything about this homestay was amazing, the location ,bird sanctuary, amazing colours of the plants all around the house, Beautifully decorated inside and out, you could not but love staying in this beautiful homestay, We had beautiful freshly baked bread waiting when we arrived, This is a must stay if you are visiting Myvatn, There was 4 of us staying and we all loved loved it, Lovely balcony.

A recently renovated holiday home set in Reykjahlíð, Myvo The Studio apartment at Geiteyjarströnd 4 features a garden. Such a lovely cosy apartment with windows all round and overlooking Lake Myvatn. It was the perfect place to relax and hope to see the Northern Lights from the big balcony outside. The place was thoughtfully designed as open plan with nice touches such as candles and rugs. The underfloor heating was very efficient and plenty of kitchenware plus oven, stovetop, microwave, washing machine etc. We had looked at slightly cheaper options nearby but I think it was worth paying a little extra for this one. Would highly recommend!

Very responsive host. Excellent location being proximal to the Nature Baths and crater. The accommodation was very clean and spacious. Great pillows and duvets. We loved our time there and did not want to go!

Eldá Guesthouse is located in Reykjahlíð, just a few minutes on foot from Lake Myvatn. There is a golf course 750 metres from the property. Each room includes a work desk, a wash basin and free WiFi. Very clean, great shared kitchen, bedroom large and comfortable. The staff is amazing especially Monika who helped me pay a parking fine. She went above and beyond being helpful. A really lovely person that helped me and made my stay so nice.

Skútustadir Guesthouse sijaitsee maatilalla Mývatn-järven etelärannalla. Majoituspaikkaan kuuluu jaettu keittiö/lounge, ja sieltä on vuoristonäköala. Everything was great, the rooms, kitchen and bathrooms are clean. The hosts are friendly, the breakfast was excellent. All recommendations.

Situated by Lake Mývatn, this guest house offers basic rooms with shared facilities. The Mývatn Nature Baths is a 10-minute drive away. very very clean for a hostel. i wasnt expecting much but it was SUPER CLEAN!! highly recommend!! kitchen was fully equipped and even the shared toilet is very clean. the room we got has a basin too!
