Silke and Stefan are excellent hosts. The stay is extremely comfortable and cosy. There are 360 panoramic views of mesmerizing nature. I would definitely highly recommend this place to anyone on Golden circle or visiting Landmannalaugar after Golden circle.

Lækjaborgir Guesthouse is located in Kálfafell, 26 km east of Kirkjubæjarklaustur. Free WiFi is offered throughout the property and free private parking is available on site. Everything was great. The cabin has everything you need. The bed is comfortable, and everything was great. There is also a hairdryer. The location is perfect.

Hvammból Guesthouse is a small, family-run guest house situated 10 km from Vík. The location is wonderful! We have a view to the sea and the green mountains right from our bed. The Place was very clean, everything worked well and we had everything we need in our private room. The host was wonderful! You can take a trail to the mountains from the guesthouse - it has a very beautiful view right from above. Be sure that it is even better than seen in the pictures!

Árbakki Farmhouse Lodge offers a hot spring bath and free private parking, and is within 18 km of Geysir and 28 km of Gullfoss Waterfall. excellent place, beautiful, organized, clean and lovely owner

This farm property offers a restaurant, small bar area, lounge and terrace. Public area Wi-Fi and parking are free. We had an excellent stay at Solheimahjaleiga Guesthouse. They surprised us with a free room upgrade when we checked in, the staff was incredibly friendly, there was free parking on site, and the complimentary breakfast was more than enough! The staff was so kind and gave us great recommendations on things to do and sites to see around Vik. It was about a 20min drive outside of Vik which gave us great opportunities to view the Aurora Borealis on the property. I would highly recommend Solheimahjaleiga to anyone traveling through or looking to stay in the countryside of Iceland.
