Staff were all very kind and helpful and provide all the information you need. Dinner was delicious especially the desert.

The food was healthy and fresh and the dinner at 15JOD per person was a real good deal, indeed!

Located 5-km away from the village of Dana, Al-Nawatef ECO camp- Dana Nature Reserve is an eco-friendly camp that offers guests a traditional Bedouin experience. The views are amazing ! Ask for one of the tents at the front of the canyon. We saw Arabian wolves ! We also greatly appreciated the endless tea and delicious dinners.

Featuring a shared lounge and views of mountain, Dana View Guest House is a guest house situated in a historic building in Dana, 27 km from Shobak Castle. Malik's knowledge and passion for the area made this visit for us. He was able to tell us so much about the nature reserve and Jordanian culture which hugely enriched our experience. The location is unbeatable with incredible views down into the valley below. It was such a privilege to be able to sit on the beautiful terrace and enjoy the changing light and listen to the gentle tinkling of the goats' bells. As we sat and chatted, we watched a kestrel perch a few feet away and Malik was able to identify lots of other birds from both their appearance and their song. A heater was provided to chase off the evening chill and the breakfasts laid on were amongst the tastiest we had in Jordan. It was also helpful to have a kettle so we could sit with a cup of something warm on the terrace. The peace and amazing views would have been sufficient to make this one of our favourite spots in Jordan, but our interactions with Malik and his wonderful family made the experience all the more special. Arrangements were made with families in the village to provide evening meals which helped spread income from tourism across the community.

Petra fort hotel, a property with a garden, is set in Wadi Musa, 9 km from Al Khazneh The Treasury, 10 km from Petra, as well as 15 km from Petra Church. The staff were great - very helpful and friendly. The room was very comfortable. The food was very good. The views from the hotel were absolutely outstanding. Great value for money.

Set 2.2 km from Petra, Leen Guest House offers air-conditioned accommodation with a balcony. This apartment offers free private parking, free shuttle service and free WiFi. Great location on top of a hill overlooking the valley giving us a beautiful sunset view. The owner/host is very hospitable and met us on arrival. He showed us around and was available if we had questions.

Old Street Apartment is located in Wadi Musa, 200 metres from Petra, 4.3 km from Al Khazneh The Treasury, as well as 5.6 km from Petra Church. The owner and staff are very nice, enthusiastic and attentive. And helped me a lot, especially the Russian guy, I like him very much. There is a very cute little stray cat that often comes to here. The location is very close to the visitor center. The room was very clean and smell fresh

Located within 27 km of Shobak Castle in Dana, Hobbit village features accommodation with seating area. Featuring a shared kitchen, this property also provides guests with an outdoor fireplace. Overally good choice for the cost. Host: Yousef, his brothers and friend - Fluent English communication - Warmhearted, polite Surrounding view - Located at middle of the valley so you can expect large scale of great views, greener landscape than other terrain of Jordan, here is the rare place you can hear the stream sound in this country Flexibility - You can bring your own food, and cook or ask for meal dish (Lunch/Dinner 8JD per person, Breakfast 4JD) - Nice view, hiking and trekking trail Electricity & heating - Many of hosting place in Dana has no electricity nor heating system (Colder & Darker!), otherwise they are somehow overpriced - Here you can expect warm night even in the middle of winter season (I stayed with 5 and 2 years old kids) Overally, I may say here is the bang for your buck.

Petra Rose Apartment is a recently renovated apartment in Wadi Musa, where guests can make the most of its garden and shared lounge. Very comfortable 2 bedroom apartment in good location. The owners were very friendly and helpful. Nizar was always available to answer any questions and make arrangements if I needed them. The apartment is very clean.
