El jambohouse Lamu se encuentra en Lamu, cerca del fuerte Lamu, del Museo Lamu y del Museo Swahili del Siglo XVIII, y ofrece wifi gratis y terraza. Este bed and breakfast sirve un desayuno... Al llegar alguien me esperaba en el aeropuerto (servicio gratuito) para acompañarme al hostel. Esto siempre se agradece. El dueño, Arnold, que es viajero también, es un pozo sin fondo de información, que te facilita las cosas desde el primer momento. El hostel que es sencillo pero coqueto, está dentro del casco viejo. Llegar cada día y cada noche hasta allí es un placer viajero. El área es muy segura. Tiene un roof top muy aprovechable.

El Jua House ofrece alojamiento con wifi gratis y zona de estar en Lamu, a 1,1 km de la playa de Manda y a 3,1 km de la galería Baraka. We can't fault Jua House. The place is stunning, the decor feels like its out of an interiors magazine. The staff is top-notch and Thomas is a rock star who I loved talking to. Breakfast is exceptional with freshly baked produce daily.

Su ubicación, la tranquilidad, la amabilidad del personal y de los dueños. La decoración es preciosa, cada rincón está cuidado con el más mínimo detalle. Puedes pasear por todo el alojamiento, leer en cualquier espacio... La habitación es muy amplia y la cama es cómoda. El desayuno para mi, lo mejor. Todo casero y riquísimo. Si vuelvo a Lamu, repetiré sin duda.

El Umma House cuenta con terraza y está situado en Lamu, a solo 300 metros del Museo de Lamu y a 500 metros del fuerte de Lamu. The house is a beautiful gem within old lamu town. The architecture is stunning, the rooms are freshened by fans and the pool is great to escape the day’s heat. The house staff is incredibly helpful and Peter was a great caretaker. We would also warmly recommend arranging a tour of the old town and of shela, as well as a boat tour if one wishes, with Abu. Abu is knowledgeable and loves his job; he is a great storyteller and a great artist (ask to see his recycled art). Walking around Lamu with him and learning about this unique place from him was a wonderful experience.

El Makubwa house está situado a 100 metros del Museo Lamu y ofrece alojamiento en Lamu con acceso a una pileta cubierta. Ofrece pileta privada y conexión wifi gratis. The staff and manager of the house so helpful. Lots of advice and recommendations where to eat. Also easy to find in the maze of Lamu, close to the jetty but far enough for a peaceful stay

El Shiban House se encuentra a 1,1 km de la playa de Manda y ofrece alojamiento con centro de fitness, terraza y cocina compartida. Hay wifi gratis. Joseph and Mpanzi were very lovely and took good care of me. I enjoyed chatting with them and really felt like I had made new friends by the time I left. The house is large and clean and is well located in Shela. A very comfortable base to explore Lamu and its delights.

El Beytsalam, situado a 300 metros del fuerte de Lamu, ofrece alojamiento con salón común, terraza y cocina compartida. Hay wifi gratis. The hotel was very clean and all the amenities were just as described The room was very spacious, the air condition and fan made it very comfortable. Jivanji was very hospitable and all the staff were very polite. Breakfast was served on the terrace overlooking the ocean. A good variety of Swahili goodies.

This was my second time staying here and it still exceeded my expectations. The flat I stayed in was spacious and thoughtfully designed with some artful collections of antique Swahili style furniture. There was access to a private fully equipped kitchenette with an adjacent outdoor dining/ lounging area. The room was airy and well ventilated and also had a very spacious bathroom that had great shower pressure! Joshua is an exceptional host, responsive, warm and welcoming and very attentive. He has even made provisions for Solar lights in case of power outages which were infrequent during my stay and only lasted a few minutes at a time. The Wilderbeeste provides all the comforts and necessities of a home away from home yet its quirky and historical design provides a sense of adventure and novelty needed for a retreat! Can't wait to return for a longer stay!

El Banana House and Wellness Centre cuenta con pileta al aire libre y se encuentra en la localidad de Shela, a 2,7 km de la galería Baraka. El alojamiento se encuentra a 2,8 km del fuerte Lamu. My stay in Tree house was just wonderful. The hotel is very special, amazing vibe and incredible location. It was so peaceful and the staff are very helpful and nice. I also loved the food, very healthy, tasty and big dishes. I will definitely come back.

The design in this property is amazing, beautiful. The indoor pool is exquisite. The staff was excellent and the apartments large and comfortable.
