A lot of renovation has clearly taken plans and continues to, as they expand. But nothing disturbed us. The lake and beach are just a short 5 minute walk from the Guesthouse. The breakfast was a nice experience, too. We really felt like guests rather than customers. By the way, the pics don't make it clear, but we had the room with one king bed and two twins, and the twins are actually located in a separate bedroom, so the place feels more like an apartment than a hotel room. Highly recommend!

Good home, with warm apartments (because of two powerful heaters in the room), so it was okay in December. New and high quality bathroom equipment. The host knows the city well, you can ask him about everything!

There is also a playground inside the compound which is great for kids. The bed is super comfy and clean. The owner is amazing. She is very friendly and nice. She even helped us ordered food online.

Yurt camp Sonun is a recently renovated campground in Bokonbayevo, where guests can make the most of its garden and barbecue facilities. Clean, comfortable camp. Wonderful shower facilities that are quite warm. Manager is super helpful and speaks good English. Walking distance to lake side in both directions. Eagle show was quite authentic and fun!
