Kirinda Heaven - Yala, a property with an outdoor swimming pool and a garden, is set in Kirinda, 700 metres from Kirinda Beach, less than 1 km from Nidangala Beach, as well as 14 km from Tissa Wewa. I loved everything. We had an eleven-day scooter trip across the island, and Kirinda was our last stay before going home to Galle. The property is very well maintained; it looks new, minimalistic, and stylish. Everything was just perfect: the mattresses were super comfy, the AC worked properly, the shower was great, etc. But the main thing was the stuff and the food they cooked. I hadn't expected that I'd have one of the best dinners in five months in a place I had never heard of. Just spectacular!

The hotel staff is so nice and friendly, and they go out of your way to give you the most pleasant stay you could even imagine. When you book a villa, you get the whole villa for yourself, a nice bedroom with good wifi and television. The bathroom is very nice and clean. The villa is newly built, and a modern look. You get a private pool with an amazing view over the lake, with water buffalos, peacocks, birds, lizards and even crocodiles! At sunset, giant bats fly over the area and gives an amazing view (don't worry, they don't get close). The hotel had arranged a safari for us and it was great. When we came back in the morning the staff had amazing breakfast ready for us. And after that we enjoyed the day at our own pool. The staff later recommended that we took a boat tour at the lake, and it was really nice. The hotel had arranged a tuktuk for us, and the boat tour was so relaxing watching birds and crocodiles. After going off the boat, the tuktuk took us to see where all the giant bats 'hang out', which were in trees right next to the lake. The hotel can make you all kinds of food whenever you like. They can make both local food or international food. The Prices are fair, and the food is very good. The staff are really nice and kind people. They had our clothes laundered, and some of my clothes needed some sewing, and a member of the staff was so kind and offered to have his wife fix it for me within hours. We only stayed for two nights, but we wish we had stayed for much longer.

The breakfast in the tree house and the dinner by the bonfire were incredible. Everybody was super nice and helpful. We has a great experience

Located within less than 1 km of Tissa Wewa and 25 km of Bundala Bird Sanctuary in Tissamaharama, Tissa Rainbow Guest & Yala provides accommodation with seating area. Lovely stay, such a kind and helpful owner. Served us complimentary drinks on arrival and when we arrived back from the safari. He was so helpful with ongoing travel and brought me to the bus station. Room was spacious and clean, would highly recommend staying in this guesthouse.

Offering a garden and lake view, Blue Sky Hotel Yala is located in Yala, 3 km from Tissa Wewa and 28 km from Bundala Bird Sanctuary. Perfect location to relax close to Yala National park. Owners are really nice and there some good restaurants close by.

Mailagama Cinnamon Residence features free WiFi and views of mountain in Sellakataragama. Featuring a concierge service, this property also provides guests with a terrace. One of my favourite stays surprisingly. We stayed just for the safari but this place was really great. The staff were so nice and you really felt like you got to know them. The food was good with quite a wide range of options. But the best part was simply the location. You are really right out in the middle of the rice fields and the views and peacefulness of the place were so great. Bring a book and just hang out on the grounds watching the fields.

Spread across 2 acres of lakefront property, Wild Lotus Yala is set in a quiet rural village close to Yala National Park. The staff was very helpful, the garden was exceptionally beautiful and taken care of. The dinner that they prepared for us was delicious, we loved every bit of it.

Perfekt sted å bo når man skal på safari i Yala. Ble tatt varmt i mot kokosnøtt. Hyggelige eiere som også ordnet transport for oss fra Ella til Yala på kort varsel. Han ordnet safari som var en flott opplevelse. Veldig rent rom, sannsynligvis det reneste på hele turen. Vi fikk servert fantastisk curry til middag. Kan varmt anbefale dette stedet.

Boasting lake views, Lake Face Cabana offers accommodation with balcony, around 4.5 km from Tissa Wewa. This property offers access to a terrace, free private parking and free WiFi. The family couldn't have done enough for us; it was a pleasure to stay here. The view Fe the cabana was beautiful and such a great place to enjoy watching the birds. I recommend seeing the sunrise. We stayed one additional night and would have stayed longer if we had the time. Thank you for a lovely stay. We went for a safari at Yala and everything was organized by our hosts: pick up, tour and guide.
