They set up a WhatsApp group chat so we could contact them at all times. Their restaurant recommendations were amazing. We would highly recommend.

A couple of minutes driving from the wonderful beaches of Belle Mare and Palmer beach, this is a great place to enjoy the best of Mauritius in a far more economic way. We had a spacious bedroom with private bathroom and a little kitchen where we could cook our own meals, But Shanti Nivas is a lot more than just a place to stay, this is a place where you feel like home. The host, Mr. jay is a one of a kind master host. He does everything to make you feel at home, and soon he became a friend. Don't expect a 5 stars resort by 1/10 of the price you pay for it in Mauritius, but you can certainly expect a 10 times better service. Thanks Jay, you're the man and you have built a quite unique concept in Mauritius by allowing everyone to have the possibility of visit the wonderful Mauritius with a limited budged. I cannot recommend enough your place to anyone who always dreamed to visit Mauritius but couldn't afford the extremely expensive hotels.

We would highly recommend the place to all the travelers and do listen to Kerstin's expert advice. She knows what she is doing and you can relax and enjoy your holiday.

Riverside Holiday Home er staðsett í Grande Rivière Sud Est, 17 km frá Belle Mare, og býður upp á verönd og ókeypis WiFi. Rajesh is just the perfect host, very helpful for us with everything even before landing in Mauritius for the first time and during all our stay, even if we booked one of his apartment only for the last days! The room and facilities were just perfect. The view over the river is really lovely. Even if the location is not very near to a beach, there are options at small driving distance. I highly recommend Rajesh and his apartments!! Last but not least, I highly recommend his car renting services! We had one of his 5 cars, a Toyota in very good condition, for all our stay in Mauritius. Very good price and excellent service!

We had an exceptional stay in this accommodation. It was the perfect location to relax next to the lake before our departure from the island. Very peaceful location with nice view and nature. When we booked, we were a bit concerned of mosquitoes due to its proximity to the lake, but we had no problem at all the 3 days we stayed there. The room was very spacious and clean, the personnel very friendly, and helpful with everything we needed. The breakfast was hearty, with many local products. Totally recommended!

The house is located in a new neighborhood just a few minutes drive from the beach. Nice and quiet area which felt very safe. The house is big and airy, decorated with nice new furniture (very comfortable sofa) and everything you need if you feel like cooking. AC in the bedrooms for a good night’s sleep. Secure parking. The lovely Mehzabine met us when we arrived to give us the keys and to show us around and we also met Vikram the owner. The pool is not very big but everything you need to dip and stay cool.

Located a few steps from Trou d’Eau Douce Beach and 1.5 km from Quatre Cocos Beach in Trou dʼ Eau Douce, Trou d’Eau Douce - Campement pieds dans l’eau offers accommodation with a kitchen. I can highly recommend this property. The check-in process was seamless and the property has a gorgeous view. The house was very clean and the kitchen was well stocked. We enjoyed the stay here in the East and got to explore the local beaches and eateries. I would recommend this stay to anyone.
