Comfy beds, everything clean, and the pool was very nice to cool off. Drinking coffee watching the sun rise at the balcony in the morning also was a highlight. We loved the beautiful garden with his dog, the chickens and the neighbor cat. Elmer and his family are so friendly, and they are willing to help with anything. He even arranged and gave us a Lago Yacumama tour, and we had a campfire our last night. It is a small drive from the city (we had a car), but Tuktuks regularly pass by and there are taxi's. I hope I get the chance to come back in the future!

I really enjoyed my two-weeks stay at Rosa's house ! :D Rosa and Elvis are beautiful people, very kind and friendly ! Kira and Kuka, the two dogs, are very friendly and affectionate too ^^ It's a peaceful place, surrounded by nature, the perfect location to relax, rest and meditate or going on adventures in the jungle. Rosa's house is at walking distance from the centre of Puerto Maldonado (about 1 hour) but if you don't want to walk, you can take a tuktuk or a mototaxi passing by. I highly recommend this place !

The staff were super friendly once again. Highly recommended!

Located a 15-minute drive from the bus terminal, Passiflora Camp offers accommodations in Puerto Maldonado. A complimentary Continental breakfast is served daily. I rate this place 10+. Eduardo and his spouce are very friendly and welcoming hosts. The place is like a paradise and I recommend you to take at least a few days here. Delicious and fulfilling breakfast too. Eduardo will be happy to help you arrange tours. The distance from Puerto Maldonado is perfect so that you can experience the true jungle feeling, specially at night, but still doesn't feel too remote. Tuktuk can be arranged for a modest 15soles, very worth it. Also, if you are interested in a ceremony, Alberto is your go-to guy. Highly recommended!
