We didn't understand how the rating of Dawn Homestay could be so high but now that we've experienced it we totally understand! The building is so well looked after, and the room was spacious and clean and nicely decorated. The location is good - a quiet neighbourhood close to the waterfront and there are lots of restaurants and cafes nearby. The hostess is extremely nice and welcoming. I was very happy to spend a couple of nights at this homestay :)

A good location for a relaxing stay in Phong Nha, The Hill Villas is a homestay surrounded by views of the lake. We had a lovely stay here! Very good value for the money. The couple who run the place are super helpful and accommodating. They offer inexpensive rides to town, will pick up food in town for you and the provided breakfast in house is great.

Very helpful and friendly family run Homestay. They arranged transport to and from Dong Hoi in a nice vehicle. Tours they helped book were excellent, and their rental motorbikes were in good repair. The pool was pleasant, the restaurant simple but quick with an omelette or cold beer.

Ecolodge has everything you need, everything you want. The owners are very kind, smiling and proposes everything you’ll need to have a great Time in Phong Nha. (Caves guided tour, free bikes, motorcycle location) Breakfasts are good, Vietnamese coffees are excellent ! Pool is definitely a plus ! With pool views, this accommodation offers a patio.... I loved the location of the karst villas, really an unique spot a little outside of the village and noise. Staff was very friendly and smiley 😊 loved the dogs 😊 pool was great to chill, soak in the scenery and watch the sunset.

Set in Phong Nha, Son River Homestay offers accommodation with air conditioning and access to a garden. Very familiar homestay, they were super attentive. We arrived late at night and they came to pick us up, also they took us again to the bus when we left (for free). They allowed us to take a shower after we check out. They manage the rental of a motorbike for us, and help us with the bus booking. The breakfast was was good. The son speaks very good english so that make things easier. Super recomended!
