The location was amazing, just use the road next to the river and turn uphill near the soccer field. The house was cosy, comfortable and clean.

Very quiet and atmospheric place. I had my own small building consisting of a double room, private bathroom and also a kitchen (separate entrance) with a fridge, a kettle, utensils and everything. There's also quite a big garden so you can sit outside and relax with a nice view of the town or a sky full of stars. It all looked quite authentic and cozy. The location is not in the center of Tilcara but it's rather an advantage because it's more quiet and still the center is reachable by some 15 minutes walking or a few minutes by car. There's a private parking space. To reach the property you need to turn from the main road to a small unpaved slightly uphill road (some 100 m) of which I was quite skeptical at first glance but it turned out to be ok for a rather small car (Citroen C4 Cactus). And then another turn to the final 50m part of the road which is quite narrow. So I think it's better to ask the property in advance if your car will fit or not if you have a big and wide 4x4. With my C4 Cactus it was not a problem at all. I also needed a stable Internet connection during my stay, I contacted the host in advance to ask about it, they were quite helpful and explained that it should be ok in general but the speed in Tilcara is quite slow compared to big cities (which is understandable given the remote location). Turned out the Wi-Fi was good, quite stable and the speed was ok for calls, etc. Cellular data speed in Claro network was also good.

Location close walk to town. Clean, tidy and decorated with local decor. Comfortable beds. Fabulous breakfast brought to your room. Staff very friendly and helpful. Locked parking on site. Would highly recommend staying here.

This is a charming group of cottages on a hillside over Tilcara. It’s run by a lovely young couple. The cottages were individually built in the local adobe style with all modern conveniences. There were nice places sit and grill. They even had yoga on site. Really a nice place to chill and explore the region. I can highly recommend.

come essere in alta montagna! Le cabana si affacciano su un bel giardino con amache e sdraie. Le abitazioni in sasso e arredi tipici di buon gusto sono molto accoglienti e romantiche, con camino, giardinetto privato con accesso dalla camera da letto, cucina ben attrezzata. Veramente un posto suggestivo. La colazione abbondante viene consegnata nella cabana direttamente dallo staff su grandi vassoi! W la privacy
