Fresh fruits, yoghurts, meat protein, egg, pastries, delicious breads and caffee latte. Wonderful.....gave us energy we needed for the sightseeing of gorgeous Sintra. Location right next to train station was EXCELLENT!!! Loved drinking Port provided by Chalet Sauladad in the charming sitting room in the evenings.

We were given a very informative briefing about the hotel and Sintra on arrival, useful even if you have already done your research on the town. A very substantial and varied breakfast was provided at the Cafe Saudade a short walk away. We found the staff at both the Chalet and the Cafe very friendly and helpful.

Super neat and clean. As for location, I don't know whether I could pick a better spot, but this one seemed to me very good. We were also able to park the car right next to the apartment. Host company provided the route to the apartment and there are also signs along the way leading to Casa Pendoa.

Nicely made bed and wooden blinds to keep it like a dungeon. No air though, as the only window is shut when you keep the blinds down to cut down the light.

All the staff is helpful, friendly, thoughtful either at the hotel or at the breakfast tearoom. The view from the chalet is so typical from Sintra, over wooden hills. It has a lovely garden- which makes it worth renting the rooms connected to it to take better advantage of it (even if it’s full open to everyone). The bed is perfect (very firm mattress and fluffy lots of fluffy pillows). It is a heaven of peace and beauty!
