We (1 couple) stayed for 3 days in this beautiful lodge. The lodge is directly located on top of a small plateau of a mountain. The view we had up there is just amazing. The Arenal is exposed really good and sitting at the outside table was a beautiful experience. It is really quiet most of the time, because there is no neighbors. Only during the night it can get a bit loud due to strong winds or rain. The kitchen and bathroom/shower facilties seem really modern. You need a 4x4 car to climb the asphalted road and get to the lodge. The owners were really friendly and communicating was always fast (Whatsapp).

Essence Arenal ist ein ökologisches Hotel umgeben von Tropenwald, die ein Wellnesscenter für Touristen bietet, es ist von Gärten und schönen Blick auf den Arenal See, den Vulkan Arenal und Cerro Chato... Great location, nice staff, in the middle of the nature you can see so many plants and animals, it’s just great ! The cacao tour is really worth it and the guide is incredible he knows everything about nature in Costa Rica ! It’s the 3rd time I stay here and I would stay there again and again!

Das umweltfreundliche Rancho Margot begrüßt Sie 700 m vom Fluss Caño Negro und 3 km vom Arenal-See entfernt. die ranch ist der wahnsinn!! außergewöhnlich liebes und professionelles personal!!! der besitzer ist total sympathisch und down to earth! man fühlt sich rundum wohl! hab 2 nächte gebucht und dann nochmal 2 nächte verlängert. es ist ruhig, es gibt 1000 rückzugsmöglichkeiten, man fühlt sich mit personal und gästen sofort verbunden. hat was familiäres. jeder will die natur genießen. unbedingt soviel touren wie möglich mitmachen! zahlt sich aus!!

Die Unterkunft Love Cabin - Arenal Volcano & Lake views besticht durch Gartenblick und Übernachtungsmöglichkeiten mit einer Terrasse und einem Balkon, ungefähr 25 km von Wasserfall La Fortuna... The view is good. Unfortunately we had clouds in front of the volcano all 4 days :/
