This is a great spot for birders to explore Danta's exceptional trails and to explore overall the pensinsula. Well done and we certainly will come again.

Bungalow en Península de Osa er staðsett í Barrigones. Býður upp á gistirými með einkasundlaug, verönd og útsýni yfir ána. Loved the pool area. Nice to sit and relax by the pool in the afternoon. Could absolutely see returning with a bigger group.

Gististaðurinn Kinkajoungalows - Amaya Family, Drake Bay, Osa Peninsula er staðsettur í nokkurra skrefa fjarlægð frá Rincon-ströndinni og býður upp á gistirými, veitingastað, garð, verönd og bar. Sam and his family were really welcoming. We loved staying there. The bungalow was surrounded by nature and so close to the beach. The food was very nice too. Would highly recommend :-)

Four Monkeys Eco Lodge - Jungle & Beach er staðsett í Cabo Matapalo á Puntarenas-svæðinu og Tamales-strönd er í innan við 200 metra fjarlægð. A fabulous getaway from everything. The 'rooms' offer a jungle experience like few others do: while comfy and luxurious, they also have you right in the middle of the incredible beauty of nature at its very best. The wildlife frequenting the property is stunning, from Scarlet Macaws to Squirrel Monkeys. On the beach, which feels like it belongs to you, you can watch Brown Pelicans fishing while you are taking a swim. We had great conversations with the friendly owners and other guests in the community area. The kitchen is very well equipped and offers all amenities you might be looking for. Hammocks and a swing right on the beach add further opportunities to relax and enjoy life at this gorgeous place. We had a great time there!

Amazonita Ecolodge er staðsett í Dos Brazos, í hjarta frumskógarins, 16 km frá Puerto Jimenez. Ókeypis einkabílastæði eru í boði á staðnum. Allar gistieiningarnar eru með setusvæði. We loved the warm welcome from all the friendly furry friends- adorable dogs and the sweetest kitten Aurora. The staff was also very kind and accommodating. The sounds of the jungle during the night was amazing. The areas were as clean as can be, don’t forget you are in the jungle, it’s an open concept.

Finca Kobo er staðsett í Palo Seco, 15 km frá Puerto Jiménez, og býður upp á verönd og útsýni yfir fjöllin. Ókeypis WiFi og ókeypis einkabílastæði eru í boði á staðnum. WOW! This place is a GEM! We were not expecting the beauty and serenity all around us. The paved paths to the main area were so beautifully maintained and landscaped! Our bungalow was secluded and very clean. The owners, Jutta and Alex were so gracious and we enjoyed meeting their family, as well. It had a very 'family' feel to it. The breakfasts were delicious and we chose to stay and buy our dinners there. We're so glad we did. This place is small and there was only one other couple there so it had a very intimate feel to it. My husband and I loved hiking all their trails and saw so many birds and monkeys there! Toucans, Scarlet Macaws, warblers, wrens, parrots, and more! The monkeys came through the forest every afternoon, making spectacles of themselves and added to the joy of our stay. Oh...and don't forget to take a cacao tour! This place is a cacao plantation!! (we brought some cacao nibs home with us and they're perfect for vanilla ice cream topping!)

Everything was simply spectacular: the whole staff is always keen to help and make you feel at home, starting from Lana, the incredible owner of the lodge; the food is local, fresh and delicious; there is a whole range of activities that Lana organize - we even had the opportunity to participate to a Cacao ceremony that was quite an experience. You could literally spend from few days to few months in that lodge as you will always feel at home. The view of the yoga place is spectacular. Just keep in mind that the road to get there requires 4W car and a really expert driver, so if you don’t feel confident, is a good option to accept the lift from the lodge.

What we loved the most is the staff - Tomas and Julia make you feel so welcome!
