This is a fantastic residence. We stayed in one of the two bedroom apartments 'Colibri' which was very spacious, clean and comfortable. Breakfast was delicious and we enjoyed a few themes over our stay, we also enjoyed the Creole evening.The pool area was immaculate. We had a great welcome from the owners who spoke excellent English and they allow guests to continue to use the pool area and a bathroom if they are catching a late flight which is always really helpful. I highly recommend and hope to return in the future.

Located in Cabarete in the Puerto Plata Province Region, 300 metres from Encuentro Beach. We had a fabulous time at El Encuentro Surf Lodge. It was like a boutique resort with super friendly staff, wonderful food, beautiful scenery and more! Would highly recommend staying here.

El Shambala Lodge està situat a Le Moule, a 1,2 km de la Plage de la Porte d'Enfer i a 3 km de la platja dels Dauphins. Ofereix WiFi gratuïta, aire condicionat, bar i servei de massatges. It is a perfect place to relax - calm and peaceful. The lodge is very nice, especially the outdoor bathroom. Loved the staff, very kind and pleasant to talk to.

I loved the peaceful location- down an unpaved track , elevated location with far reaching views. The hosts and their team of staff are just very lovely people- there is a sort of old school home away from home feel to the place. The food is just great in that there are plenty of really healthy options- fresh ingredients and home cooked items. They arranged for me to hike with a neighbour- a french lady who has 10 years experience of all the local tracks- on horseback and on foot...it was fabulous. It was great to have hot water and quality towels and bed linen. I really felt very comfortable here as a solo traveller.

Mondi Lodge offers an outdoor pool, tropical gardens and air-conditioned wooden bungalows with fully equipped kitchenettes and free WiFi. Blue Bay Beach is just a 2-minute drive away. The design of treehouse was unique and memorable. It felt like we were part of nature and not trying to escape it. For breakfast, the food and service were great. They offered daily specials and a vast menu. The central location on the island is great for exploring north and south. The staff were friendly and accommodating in every way.
