We booked the very well furnished Mökki on this paradisiacal place. If needed, you can bring your foodstuffs from the small market 2km before the ferry in Kirjais. The isolated island is served by the small FinFerry boat "Chery" on the Nauvo Transverse Route and by the bigger "Falkö" on the Nauvo Southern route. It is quite important to call before 4pm on the previous day! If the schedule doesn't fit, taxi boat can be arranged by the helpful hosts.

Set in a forested area with a garden, Juhlamenot Oy offers self-catering accommodation just 25 km from centres of Helsinki and Porvoo. A sauna and BBQ facilities can also be found on site. Alexandra was a wonderful host. The site is truly beautiful, and the cabins were everything we could have ever wanted for this weekend away. The saunas were perfect, Gumbostrand (nearby town) was quiet and pretty by the coast, many beautiful lakes nearby, and the location is just 20 mins from Helsinki airport (35 euro taxi). Thank you!

Our dream night in Finland! The house is very cozy and accessible via local transportation or car. Poppii was very welcoming and prepared for us an AMAZING salmon soup that we'll never forget. The cottage is very clean and feels very new. The fireplace is very warm and safe and easy to use. The sauna is perfect, and the ability to go sit by your own personal pier with a coffee ( or swim in the cold cold lake) is just splendid. The lake is beautiful. A real slice of paradise that we won't forget — thank you Poppii !

The host Klaus was so kind and welcoming. He even picked me up from Porvoo bus station when he learned I'm coming by public transport and drove me back there when leaving (the property is a bit outside of the town). This little old fairytale house is one of the coziest and most charming places I have ever stayed at. Besides having everything needed, it significantly added to the overall experience of my trip.
