Very wonderful accommodation just outside Dambulla. The boss welcomed us with a drink and looked after us the whole time. The boss met the individual needs of each of us. The breakfasts were plentiful and always with a nice comment about Sri Lankan cuisine. Thank you for a wonderful stay, we felt very happy, friendly and safe here.

Offering a garden, Sun and Green Lodge is situated in Dambulla. Dambulla Cave Temple is 5 km from the property while Sigiriya is 9 km away. Free WiFi is offered . Sun and Green Eco Lodge provides peaceful accomodation in beautiful junge garden. Hosts Janaka and Gayani are very kind and very helpful and treated us like family. We have never experiened such friendly and generous reception previously. They helped us to arrange every trip, picked us up at bus stop or drove us to and from see sights. Gayani prepared for us delicious and rich homemade cuisine. We definitely recommend this accomodation.

Set amidst a natural landscape, Back of Beyond – Pidurangala offers a peaceful getaway in Sigiriya. The staff were so accommodating, welcoming, enthusiastic and attentive. There were a lot of great activities to do in the area. The tree houses were so fun to stay in and kept us nice and dry in the rain. The food was delicious too!

Heavens Acres Lodge อยู่ในมาตาเล ห่างจากศูนย์การค้า Kandy City Center Shopping Mall 44 กม. The lodge had a beautiful and peaceful garden filled with trees, creating a serene atmosphere. The kitchen was well-equipped with all the necessary tools and appliances, including pots, pans, a gas cooker, fridge, and washing machine. The rooms were also nicely arranged and had everything we needed. The bathroom was well-maintained and clean. Overall, it was the best stay we've ever had.

I give a 10 not for the accommodation, which was really simple, but for the real and raw experience of living a couple of days together with Niro, Umanga and their family. We saw the beautiful sides as their hospitality, the stunning nature, good organic food. But we also saw the struggle and need for financial support as they lost their original land (some photos are still from the old land) and termites are breaking their home. They have good intentions, trying not only to help themselves, but having worked together with the school in the village and helped people build their homes. Right now they need help on their own home. So if you'd like to get to know them and support them, come and check out their place.

Close to the world heritage site - Sigiriya Rock Fortress and pidurangala historical religious site. The staff are extremely friendly, polite, and attentive; constantly attempting to ensure guest satisfaction. Food is on a set menu and is absolutely mouthwatering! This little hiding gem truly deserves everyone's attention for all its fabulous services. It is just couple of steps away for bird watching area and the beautiful lake. Free of charge night safari were fantastic and great experience.

Incredibly kind family owners-I arrived super early having cycled there, they served me a delicious breakfast and got my room ready ASAP. Location is fab-you can enter Sigiriya rock via a back entrance (but it might be worth getting your entry ticket on your way to hotel as its a bit of a walk to the ticket office (inside the museum) once you are at the hotel. Easy walk into town/ restaurants. Room is basic but super clean,mini fridge, kettle provided and outdoor seating. All set in lovely garden.

This place is the epitome of Sri Lankan hospitality and friendliness. In all of our travels we have never experienced the same level of genuine care, interest and helpfulness. The room is spacious and in its own building with a generous covered verandah amongst trees. Rice paddies adjoin with beautiful views out to sigiriya rock. It's a short walk into the main shops and to 'off the beaten track' lakes and temples. The breakfast is exceptional. The dinner as much so. The whole family gets involved in making your experience so authentic and enjoyable. This really is an incredible place and we would not hesitate to stay here again. You will not regret booking to stay here.
