The Jungle has city views, free WiFi and free private parking, situated in Mérida, 2.9 km from Maderas Volcano. Some units have a terrace and/or a balcony with mountain or lake views. We were given a very warm welcome and were well looked after by Maykel and his family . He arranged a volcano guide and we ordered packed lunches which were perfect at the top of a long hike . It was really useful that we could rent Maykal’s scooter as we had taken a taxi from the port. With large backpacks renting motos at the port would not have been fesible for us. Having independent ( not taxi) transport is, I think important to have a relaxed tour of this beautiful island . The roads are quiet and generally very low speed so biking is easy and the main way people get around. We had a wonderful , large room and big bathroom with a shower. There was a terrace where we sat peacefully in the evenings watching and listening to monkeys and enjoying the sunset. The food is all cooked to ordered. We had excellent breakfasts and we ate in 2 out of 4 evenings. They ask that you order your meal in advance so it can be freshly prepared. We were really happy with the location. Close to a lake beach, but close using the moto to the best sandy beaches- Playa Mango and San Domingo. The WiFi was excellent . We were so pleased we chose The Jungle and highly recommend it.

With lake views, Finca Mystica is situated in Mérida and has a restaurant, a shared lounge, bar, garden, year-round outdoor pool and terrace. Ryan and Angela were incredible hosts, with really helpful contacts and plans to spend a wonderful and efficient stay. La finca is a place that seems out of Disney with butterflies, birds, and even monkeys. The food is great. Go there without hesitation !

Located in Balgue in the Ometepe region and Maderas Volcano reachable within 13 km, Finca Ometepe provides accommodation with free WiFi, BBQ facilities, a garden and free private parking. Finca Ometepe was the highlight of our visit to Isla Ometepe! We enjoyed the warm hospitality of our hosts, Hanna and Hakan, who welcomed us to their home, shared their food, showed us around the farm and made us feel at home!. It was a very special experience for all of us, we had never experienced something similar on our travels before. We picked organic greens for salad together, participated in milking the goats, searching for eggs, processing Cacao and Cafe grown on the farm, enjoyed making our own pizza in their clay oven, and baking the most delicious brownies from their cacao (and recipe!). The farm is beautiful and relaxed, the casita has comfortable beds, a well equipped kitchen and spacious outdoor dining area with hammocks to relax in. Breakfasts where homemade, yummy and varied, and on top of all of these, hauler monkeys visited nearby every morning!

Located in Popoyo in the Rivas Region region, with Popoyo Beach nearby, Wild Waves Surf-House provides accommodation with free WiFi and free private parking. Great place to stay, the place is really clean and the owners very friendly and welcoming. The kitchen is great and lots of nice outdoor space to relax in! Would stay again 😊

Offering a restaurant and a bar, Ecolodge Blue Morpho is located 8 km from Cardenas, only 150 metres from the shore of Lago Nicaragua. We liked it has a great location near the CR-NIC border in front of Cocibolca Lake, easy to find. The owner's warm welcome made us feel great and at home. It is an eco-lodge, powered by the sun and wind, so A/C is not available, but the fresh air by the night almost does it.

Situated in San Juan del Sur Bay, Hacienda & Ecolodge Morgan’s Rock has a children’s playground, outdoor pool, and a private beach area 1.5 km away. The property is just incredible. The villa with the private pools are so nice, and the views are so worth it. We were there during wet season but we still had quite plenty of sun. Altho there is not A/C, there is a very good bed cooling system. Food portions are quite big and tasty so sharing is totally fine if you are not so starving :) Oh, and the coffee, the smell is already amazing.

Boasting a permaculture farm and exotic edible fruit forest, La Bambouseraie, is set in Balgue, within 16 km of Maderas Volcano. A balcony with garden views is offered in each unit. Absolutely fantastic, staff were lovely and very friendly, breakfast was great and had a different special every morning. The cabanas were very secluded and you really felt you were in the middle of jungle. We extended our stay and wished we could have stayed longer.

Situated less than 1 km from Santana Beach, 99 Surf Lodge offers an outdoor swimming pool, a fitness centre and air-conditioned accommodation with a terrace and free WiFi. Amazing place . The staff and the manager are just lovely and dedicated ! The location, the swimming pool, and the restaurant are PERFECT Close to the mini supermarket and 2/3 nice spots I could have stayed there forever gracias 🙏

Offering an outdoor swimming pool and a restaurant, Totoco Eco-Project is located in Balgue. Free WiFi access is available in public areas of this lodge. we loved the location on the edge of the cloud forest. we loved listening to the howler monkeys and birds in the morning.. the large eating living space with open sides and palm tress roof was beautiful and perfect for our family of 3 generations. Great food, incredibly efficient we will be back

Maderas Volcano is 6.3 km from the lodge. everything! it was a beautiful space, the bed was comfy, the staff were kind, the breakfast (at additional cost of a reasonable $5) was awesome, it was a great location, the “in nature” feel was perfect and the VIEW!! amazing
