The owner was incredibly helpful in organising motorbike rental and helping with taxis. Sorted us breakfast early the day we had to leave. The location is beautiful, garden is super nice and the sunsets are amazing.

Finca Ometepe ligt in Balgue in de regio Ometepe, op 13 km van vulkaan Maderas en biedt gratis WiFi, een barbecue, een tuin en gratis privéparkeren. Finca Ometepe was the highlight of our visit to Isla Ometepe! We enjoyed the warm hospitality of our hosts, Hanna and Hakan, who welcomed us to their home, shared their food, showed us around the farm and made us feel at home!. It was a very special experience for all of us, we had never experienced something similar on our travels before. We picked organic greens for salad together, participated in milking the goats, searching for eggs, processing Cacao and Cafe grown on the farm, enjoyed making our own pizza in their clay oven, and baking the most delicious brownies from their cacao (and recipe!). The farm is beautiful and relaxed, the casita has comfortable beds, a well equipped kitchen and spacious outdoor dining area with hammocks to relax in. Breakfasts where homemade, yummy and varied, and on top of all of these, hauler monkeys visited nearby every morning!

Ecolodge Blue Morpho ligt op 8 km van Cardenas en op slechts 150 m van de oever van Lago Nicaragua. Het biedt een restaurant en een bar. This is one of my favorite lodgings during my long travels through Central America. The hosts were exceptional, the meals exquisite, and the space wonderful. The nature surrounding the lodge was an amazing respite from the busy cities. Waking to the sound of howler monkeys and the waves along the shores of Lake Cocibolca was magical.

Morgan's Rock ligt aan de baai van San Juan del Sur en heeft een kinderspeelplaats, een buitenbad en een privéstrand op 1,5 km afstand. The property is just incredible. The villa with the private pools are so nice, and the views are so worth it. We were there during wet season but we still had quite plenty of sun. Altho there is not A/C, there is a very good bed cooling system. Food portions are quite big and tasty so sharing is totally fine if you are not so starving :) Oh, and the coffee, the smell is already amazing.
