Only Lina was able to speak English but nevertheless we were able to communicate with the husband and the kids. Lina is a great cook and she served us traditional food (simple). When we needed a lift they were always on time. The loft is nice and the best part of it is the balcony. The shower has hot water.

This was the highlight of my visit to Peru. I arrived on the Titicaca train in the early evening, and a driver had been organized to drive me to the local port, where I was escorted by Juan, an exceptional host in every sense of the word, to the island which he and his father had built. During my stay there, Juan invited me on mini tours around some of the islands, where I learned more about Uros culture and history. The Peruvian meals prepared by his wife Amalia were exceptional- always on time, delicious, substantial and inviting. I was never hungry. Juan ensured that my stay at Amalia was truly exceptional and something which I'll never forget- watching the starry nights from a comfortable and warm bed, enjoying the sounds of silence of the lake, being mesmerized by the sunsets, and learning more about the natural beauty and wildlife of the area. This was truly an amazing experience!

I honestly feel so lucky that I decided to stay at this place. The room is huge with a breathtaking view for sunset and sunrise. It’s completely quite and you feel alone with only nature and ducks around you. Carlos was such an amazing host, taking the time to explain to me the history of the lake, the culture. I was basically alone with him in the boat having a tour of the island, far from the mass tourism. If you truly want a one of a kind experience, book here and with no hesitation. Specially when I heard many people not having a good experience at lake, because they stayed at Puno or a different place. I feel so fortunate that I was able to have a complete opposite experience. Titicaca Aruntawi Lodge Peru er staðsett í Puno og býður upp á gistirými með útsýni yfir vatnið og morgunverð daglega. Gististaðurinn er 7 km frá miðbænum og beint fyrir framan Titicaca-stöðuvatnið. Everything was marvellous: the place, the view, the sunsets. What really made everything perfect was the people: Eddie, Salome, their family and Tini, the family's pet. We felt welcomed and cared for. We were even provided with hot water bottles at night. A wonderful and unforgettable experience.

Uros Samarana Uta Lodge er staðsett í Puno og býður upp á sólarverönd og fjallaútsýni. Titicaca-vatn er 7 km frá gististaðnum. The host was lovely, sorted out transport from the bus station all the way there and back. Looked after us, we didn't need to do anything, food sorted, activities and tours sorted. Welcomed us into the community, it was a privilege to be there. The views from our room and our outside terrace with bed was stunning! It was also nice to eat dinner with the other guests and get to know them, there was a lovely group there. Accommodated vegetarian diet with variety for the couple of days we were there. Kept us very warm throughout our stay!

Such a unique experience. The hosts were extremely accommodating and made us feel at home. The food was delicious and homemade. They could not have done enough for us! Would 100% recommend this experience

Uros Summa Paqari er staðsett á eyjunni Uros, í Puno, 7 km fjarlægð frá Titicaca-stöðuvatninu. Puno-höfnin er í 5 km fjarlægð. Öll herbergin eru með sérbaðherbergi. Gorgeous place to stay!! The room was fab, better than we expected. Everything was very clean, a lovely hot shower and plenty of blankets for the cold nights. The dinner and breakfast was nice and the family here are so welcoming and friendly.

Uros Qhantany Lodge er staðsett 5 km frá ströndinni í Puno og er byggt á fljótandi eyjum Uros. Boðið er upp á gistirými miðsvæðis í Titicaca-vatni. Puno-ströndin er í 30 mínútna fjarlægð með bát. Wilburt and Delia were amazing hosts, who were super friendly, sweet, caring and more than just hosts. For 3 days it felt like family. Locationwise it is an amazing location for a romantic get away and time to spent together. The stary sky, the beautiful lakeview of titicaca lake are very special and make it a stay to remember. Wilburt and Delia will endulge you in local cultural aspects of their life and will show you the Urus island way of living. Absolut must recommendation. We loved our stay and would come back any time. The bed is amazing, you will never sleep cosier than in this hotel.
