The owner is very nice and the place is close to the mountain which makes it perfect for the ones who want to ride Transfăgărășan and enjoy the area. The facility is the well equipped and very clean.

Located in Arefu, Cabana Zimbru Transfagarasan offers accommodation with flat-screen TV, as well as a garden and a bar. The place is unreal, on the lake, fresh air, and ton of stuff to do around. The view is unreal, and you can't get enough of it. You had a small fridge you could use outside the room, but it was empty, so enough space for us. The room was very warm as it was bloody cold outside. All wood inside, was was very cozy and gave you a nice feeling like the cabin in the woods. There was a bear cub walking around the premisses, so was a site for sore eyes, just need to be careful and not go close to them as we did invade their lands. Staff was professional and helpful when needed.

Boasting accommodation with a saltwater pool, garden view and a patio, Casuta Nest is situated in Curtea de Argeş. Very nice and clean space, we will definitely come back.

Set in Cîrţişoara, Casa Ursu offers free WiFi, and guests can enjoy a garden, a shared lounge and a terrace. second time in location and that is all you need to see. Going here just for the fact that I know that the owner will wait for me even late (as I said at the reservation) and the fact that is clean, large enough, with parking and very well placed to the Transfagarasan (high alpine road)

Located in Arefu, next to the Transfăgărășan Road and 1 km from the Piscu Negru Ski Slope, Cabana Dara offers free barbecue facilities, a terrace and a restaurant. the room was very nice and cozy. The staff was kind, even if the level of English was not good we managed to communicate.
