Volcano Eco Cabin Retreat adalah chalet yang terletak di Volcano, 16 km dari Kilauea dan 9,6 km dari pintu masuk Taman Nasional Gunung Berapi. This “cabin/lodge” is amazing! We stayed in the “lodge”, so cannot comment on the smaller “cabin”. We were there for 6 days, and had a huge storm/ hurricane for 2 days. We had solar power with propane heat and stove when everyone else had no power. All stores, hotels, Volcano National Park all closed down. We loved the huge windows to watch the rain and wind. The king bed and soft duvet and pillows made sleeping so cozy. We enjoyed the good WiFi with Netflix before the storm brought it all down. Loved listening to the coqui frogs at night and counted 12 different bird species during the day. Shower had plenty of hot water. Purified rain water was the most delicious water we’ve ever had.

The office closed on 8:00pm but offered an easy late check-in option which was a locker box with a code. The same if you check out early. Very convenient! There is also a restaurant looks good beside the lodge.
