Great resort, intermediate skiing but plenty of variety.
Great resort, intermediate skiing but plenty of variety. Lifts could be faster and more modern but it’s not really an issue.
Resort is great, everything is good value, large selection of good restaurants and bars.
Tax free alcohol, perfumes etc, shops had some really good discounted goods.
Resort is compact and easy to navigate

Lots of restaurants and shops.
Lots of restaurants and shops. Make a note that your data roaming isn’t included as you need zone 3. We don’t ski as we were looking for next year, but everything we saw was good. Lots of parking but you have to pay between 8am and 8pm. The resort of course is on a hill so not good for anyone with disability issues.

I have flown from Canada to ski and El Pas de La Casa for 9 years now. It has everything you would want in a ski hill. Lots of runs of various levels, and the ability to traverse from Mountain to Mountain. Everything is reasonably priced including lift passes, restaurants, beverages, & accommodation. It has great apres ski at the top of the hill at the end of the day and fabulous nightlife in town. It's everything you could look for in a ski vacation!

Great ski resort with access to 215km of well manicured pistes. Only a 5 minute walk to the ski lifts from the hotel. Large selection of shops to choose from, all very reasonably priced. Lots of eateries although we chose to stay half board at Hotel Panda this time as the food in the hotel is excellent, as were the staff, particularly Clara, who deserves a special mention for her professionalism and courtesy.

Considering it's 2080 m above the sea, I think it's a highest village in Andorra, so having a snow at your doorstep won't be a problem. The slops are for beginners and kids. There are couple of higher lifts.
There is a very strong wind in the valley from the mountains.
HIking is nice, but lots of time in the clouds or fog (mid Oct).
French use this town as a supermarket, so it's easier to find alcohol than tea to buy.
Just FYI. There are few shady characters at the streets if you go out for hike or dog-walking early morning. They are minding their own business though.

The area is good for a overnight stay in the summer and lots of places to eat and drink in the evening. One small complaint is that the village, town is getting very commercial with shops that sell repeated items that don't fit such a scenic area and this can spoil the experience.
I have to say the staff are amazing.
The beds are very comfortable and the staff clean the rooms everyday.
Slopes are easy to get to <but hard to get back up to hotel>
The room was nicely equiped with everything you need from soap to towels etc. Etc.
The wifi is very quick.
Surprisingly very spacious for accomodation in pas de la casa.
They have underground parking.
The ski lockers are great and organised.
Water pressure on the shower was great and water is always hot.
Great location, just a short walk to the slope, ski locker and changing room leads directly out without having to trudge through the lobby. Breakfast was excellent, very wide choice of croissant, scrambled egg, bacon, fruit, yoghurt, local hams and cheese. Room was very comfortable and hotel was not noisy. Kettle in the room (make your own coffee as the breakfast coffee is terrible).
Apartment is so cozy, clean and really well-equipped. Nice city and mountain view. Location is amazing. Also thanks to Maria for hospitality and help!
A little point that you should mention, when go to Pas de la Casa by car. There is no free parking in the city even with Grandvalira ski pass. But you can leave it on the streets and pay a little at the parking meter.
Breakfast was good and had the usual things you would expect such as ham, cheese, cereals, pastries and bread along with coffee and juices. We also had a evening flight and the hotel kindly allowed us a late check out so we could ski in the morning and have somewhere to change before departing
The property was in an excellent location for the slopes and the local town. Breakfast was just what we needed before a days skiing. Staff were very friendly and they accommodated a late arrival (1am) and an early check out (6am). I would highly recommend this hotel.
Everything you read in the reviews is true - fantastic family run hotel that we would absolutely recommend to friends; exceptional; perfect location; we felt at home; superb; delicious breakfast - and we will most definitely come back!
Beds were super comfy and room was clean and close to everything. Breakfast was nothing fancy but it had all that a small hotel would have. There are a ton of other options around it to if needed, not just for breakfast.
Lovely small, very friendly hotel. Rooms were spotless if a little dated. Bonus of a full bath as well as a shower. Breakfast was plenty for our needs. Great ski lockers and amazing location.
We had a triple room.
You’re getting what you pay for, but the staff is VERY friendly, the rooms are clean and decently comfortable, the location is PERFECT (right next to the ski lifts) and our stay was calm and quiet.
Very friendly and helpful staff.
Comfortable big room with very big bathroom. The hotel was quiet both during days and nights. Breakfast and dinner was of a good standard.
Apartments are well located within close walking distance from a ski rental and piste acces. Rooms are modern and well maintained. Ski lockers in the hotel are convenient.
