Friendly vibes, great staff and the lounge area had a pleasant atmosphere to relax. Breakfast was pretty decent and in general it was ok for one night.

Maike and Walter were so lovely, and the food was amazing. They were also very helpful and kept me updated about snow conditions, and the best ways to get to Andermatt. It felt like home away from home. I really enjoyed my stay in Hospental and will definitely be back.

Comfortable place, an ideal stop off if cycling over the Gotthard pass. A nice breakfast buffet was included with our room.

- The culinary experience surpassed our expectations with a sumptuous breakfast buffet and an excellent dinner at „The Japanese“, although prices are definitely rather high. „The Restaurant“ offers a wide variety of à la carte options, with decent food as well.
- We definitely liked the seamless fusion of Asian and Swiss aesthetics with exquisite furniture and captivating artworks
- Service / staff was attentive and friendly
- Spa is in my opinion large enough and offers a large indoor pool and a smaller outdoor pool in the upper section. The lower part of the spa area features saunas, steam baths and hot tubs with different temperatures

The location was superb and the owners were very accommodating. Food at their resto was also great 💯
It is a friendly hostel with a mountain refuge spirit: paneled up to the ceiling, beds in bat-flanks, kitchen available to guests, etc. The welcome by the staff was excellent. Located in Hospental in a mountain village much more charming than nearby Andermatt which is beginning to be seriously disfigured by real estate projects. The common sanitary facilities are of an irreproachable cleanliness. The breakfast buffet is richly provided.
- perfect location
- great restaurant / leisure area
- very good hotel kitchen
..but most importantly - truly excellent staff! Very friendly and helpful, gave us tips regarding where to go and what to do. Great, home-like atmosphere. What's more, during new year's eve dinner the chef even walked out of the kitchen to ask everyone if special menu is good :-)
Great place in a small, beautiful village. Good bike riding close by if you enjoy the mountains. Food at the hotel was fine. The only issue I had was my room had three extra beds which is hardly a bad thing! They had good bike storage and tools as well. I would stay here again and make it my base for a few days of riding, hiking, etc

The host was very welcoming and helpful. The accommodation met my expectation and I felt at home. The room was tidy, clean, and warm. Hospental is a cute small village with an impressive old bridge, river, and stunning views. I would certainly book again.
The warm welcome and friendliness of the host
The dinner was very good (salad, rice and goulash), and breakfast also great
Hospental is 40min walk (beautiful) from Andermatt so perfect if you have some time.
Very Homey feel with great kitchen access and one of the nicest hostels we’ve stayed in. The staff were so lovely and we even partook in the NYE sled down the Main Street of hospental!
Fantastic hotel for cycling. Well located for a number of Switzerland's best passes.
Lovely breakfast.
Fantastic and friendly owners.
Andermatt really easy to get to as well.
Nice stop to see the swiss passes. Simple, but clean. It’s a travelers hotel, not for families. Staff was nice, the breakfast was simple also, but good.
