Tasokas, rauhallinen hotelli kaupungin laidalla lähellä metroasemaa (noin 400 metriä). Hyvä aamupala. Oli mukava nähdä Hampuria myös keskustan ulkopuolella: Volksdorf on rauhallista, hyvin vehreää aluetta, jossa kuitenkin on kauppoja, kahviloita ja ravintoloita. Hotellin vieressä on ulkoilmamuseo, joka esittelee entisajan maataloutta. Museoalueella on kanoja, lampaita ja muita eläimiä. Lähistöllä näytti olevan myös uimahalli ulkoaltaineen. Yhden metroaseman päässä on kiipeilypuisto Kletterwald, josta nuoriso tykkäsi. Halusimme ensin olla koko loman keskustan lähellä, mutta hotellit olivat siellä täynnä. Hotelli du Nord oli erittäin hyvä löytö!
