Pforzheim is a little GEM in Germany... gateway to the Black Forest, but not to remotte or too crowded.. lots going on if you wanted it and if you wanted peace and quiet like I did then you could have that also.

Good and complete breakfast buffet, very good beds, clean, good shower and friendly staff. Despite the hotel is in an old builing it has been renovated some 5 years ago. All fairly done and considdering the price no-one should complain about anything. Had before worse hotels for more money. This is just good a good hotel if you have to stay in that area. The hotel restaurant was closed but there are a couple of other places nearby for dinner. The owner was very friendly and I enjoyed my stay. The location was convenient for the Autobahn Breakfast was nice - fresh coffee and rolls, eggs, ham and cheese. I would consider this hotel again.

Strict enforcement of anti COVID rules at arrival and during the stay is reassuring. Room was clean and breakfast buffet had a good variety of food. My room fronted the road and there were a lot of early morning deliveries, there are shops opposite but after closing the windows it was not a problem.
