Lovely little house. Wished we had stayed for longer, but I had made a mistake with dates and needed an extra night.
Very quirky house. Obviously lots of love gone in to the details, which is sadly lacking in some properties on the Island that are managed by agencies. Well done!!!!
Set around the fern-filled courtyard of a 19th-century house, Casa Rural Los Helechos offers studios on La Gomera’s beautiful north coast.

The landlord and his wife are very friendly. When we arrived the landlady was there and warmly welcomed us. We booked the top room. There you have an wonderful view over the ocean. The room is big and nicely furnished and very clean. We had a fridge and cuttlery and where able to do our own breakfast.
Over some extra stairs you could reach the roof with some extra nice view over the ocean and the village.
The courtyard of the place is also very nice. You can hang out there as well and meet other travellers.

Beautiful , modern well equipped house with stunning views of the sea. Very comfortable bedrooms and large dining area with balcony. 2nd floor has comfortable seating area to relax and enjoy the views . Spotlessly clean and extra storage in garage if needed . Walking distance to Hermigua and a great base for visiting north side of island.
Agulo is a wonderful little Town, (village). Its easy to get to other places with bus and then walk back. There is only one small supmarket with very limited supply so the best is to go for a little walk to Hermigua (takes one hour), and then take the bus back. In Hermigua you have a Spar supermarket and a little shop selling organic fruits and veg.
It was an excellent base to explore the beautiful towns of Agulo, Hermigua and Vallehermoso. Within a walking distance to the starting points of many spectacular trails such as Abrante viewpoint, San Marcos beach and Pescante de Agulo. The apartment was very clean, well equipped and comfortable. It was very quiet at night and the views from the balcony and the rooms were super. Many good restaurants near by made it really convenient to relax and refill after a day of hiking. We also liked the fast WiFi and the large curved wide screen TV.
Modern, spacious, well equipped apartment well located in Agulo. Isobel was very kind and picked us up from the bus stop and took us to Dany Ser. The supermarket is really close but does shut for a few hours in the day. We loved it here and could easily have spent a few more days. We were hiking and there are a number of good walks which can be done from the apartment.
Las Casas del Chorro are a series of cottages (mostly single storey) in a remote, quiet and beautiful location near Agulo. The view from the cottage terrace was beautiful overlooking a small reservoir and dam. . The cottage had a wood burning stove which we used every night. Chopped firewood was provided by the management as well as fire lighters.
The terrace (shared) with the view: sea and El Teide.
There is private parking for guests.
The host was very friendly and gave us a pumpkin <3
Agulo is pretty and we got very good service at local bars and restaurants.
The description and photos in the ad give a true picture of the accommodation
We came here for the second time, because we liked it so much. Its a hudge apartment with a nice garden, in the center of nice village Agulo. The beds are comfortable, the kitchen fully equipped and they welcome you with water in the fridge, some cookies and coffee.
Agulo is a wonderful place to stay with superb walks, good restaurants and a decent small supermarket, and Casa Rural Los Helichos was a really good place to stay in Agulo. We would happily return and look forward to doing so in future.
- Splendid terrace with view on El Teide
- Very clean and well equiped common area (washing machine)
- Very welcoming, helpful and nice staff
- Perfect location in Agulo
- Sufficient parking area
Good equipped apartment with a nice balcony with a view on the valley. We liked especially the living room.
The apartment is located in Agulo, a scenery village surrounded by a lot of nature.
Spacious, very nice house with a great garden in the centre of beautiful Agulo, with 2 very good restaurants just 100 m up the street and a supermarket 100 m down the street.
