The close proximity of the town to the beach and super walks along by the beach are excellent. If the weather is right this is an brilliant location to learn water sports.
One real downside of the town is the constant overhead low level flying from what seemed to be a local army training camp. While this was intriguing on the first day/night, by day 4 it was actually really annoying and would probably make me choose another location again.
Pretty much all the restaurants were good however the higher priced options were not to standard.

There is a large selection of restaurants and bars but nowhere is very rowdy, everywhere feels friendly and safe. You can choose a different cuisine every night and there is everything from basic pizza to fine dining. Suits all budgets.

A lovely little SPANISH town, a good mix of new and old.
A lovely little SPANISH town, a good mix of new and old. Lovely promenade and cafes and restaurants but I would not swim in that water if you paid me - although people were in the sea.
The Mar Menor is what it says - a small sea, it is fed through a channel from the main Mediterranean Sea but it isn’t tidal so was quite grubby and smelly with a lot of algae gathering by the shore. There is also a huge amount of sea grass growing. There is a strong movement to clean it up after a few disasters over the last few years.
It is also very close to San Javier airport where the Spanish air force train so there are a lot of small planes flying around all the time . Great place to watch the sun rise.

Our first time to stay in this area & it was beautiful, with the beech on your doorstep. There is also a communal pool which was never packed during our stay anyway. It is a more residential area than tourist so a little quiet which is what we wanted. However the busier area is only a 20 minute walk with lots of markets, shops & restaurants. For us it was perfect 🤩

Not good sun beds on the beach dirty and worn, some nice bars and restaurants around , no upmarket shops, bit too British for liking but thats just a personal view. Hen parties and Karaoke… irish bars great if thats your type of resort.
We loved everything about the house, it was clean spacious, beds comfortable, showers and one bath tub perfect. Groceries nearby, various restaurants, close to the beach. And the hosts so nice. Great TV with all you would like to watch, awesome heated swimming pool and outdoor area. Hope to come back one day.
We stayed here for easter and there was this midevil festeval which we really liked.
Los Alcazares is such á great place, calm, quiet and beautiful
We really like the way many original features have been kept. Although to some the hotel seems dated, that is actually its appeal. The inner court yard with its plants and birdsong is fabulous. The food in the resturant is of an exceptional standard and so well presented and served. The tapas is also excellent. Staff are really helpful and friendly, many with good english. This was our secon stay here. Im sure we will be back.
Very good basic accomodation, my back did not like the bed or sofa and the bathroom is compact, the shower in particular but that's a personal observation.
Accomodation very central to old town Los Alcazares, 50 metres from beachfront, beautiful.Price good, would recommend aside from above criticisms which, I say are personal.
Check in very smooth and efficient.
We absolutely loved our stay at the Fisherman's House and were really sad to leave. It had everything we needed for a 3 week stay over Christmas and New Year and we were made to feel so welcome with some lovely festive touches. Perfect location as a base to explore the region of Murcia. We can't wait to return!
The Villa was beautiful. We all enjoyed having the pool and the privacy. We would happily have stayed longer. The area around the villa did look a bit forgotten and run down, but it was only a 5 min drive into los Alcazares.
The staff at the hotel are very friendly and welcoming. The attention to detail w.r.t. my timings, breakfast, etc. was always great. The rooms and all facilities are spacious, clean and tidy. Would come back again, no doubt.
Lovely hotel in the centre of everything. Massive choice of restaurants nearby and only a short stroll to the beach. Helpful staff and immaculately clean room and surroundings.
Loved it, it felt quite luxurious.
Hotel was easy to find, to park, the receptionist Hesus was friendly, competent and quick, and very helpful I needed my ice pack frozen which he kindly did for me. The room was clean and well equipped.
This hotel is located a short distance from the main seafront area of Los Narejos. It's quite a stroll into Los Alcazares itself but the promenade is good and there is plenty to see on the way.
The property need maintenance URGENT!!!
Hotel’s 3rd floor no lights in the hallway.
The walls full of crack.
NO AC!!!!!!
We were assigned with 5 different rooms and there was no AC working.
It was a pleasant surprise that the hotel was wonderful in every way and was located in the best place on the central square. The views were great. We will come again! Thank you!
