Close to the unique World Heritage site of Rauma’s wooden quarters is Hotel Raumanlinna. Established as a hotel in 1933, the building is an excellent example of Functionalist architecture.

Rauma is an amazing for looking back in history. The old Town area is just stunning.
There are amazing little cozy cafes like Vanha Rauman KaffeBar, Sali and Prassen that make absolutely delicious pastries and food.
Visiting the trio of Old Town museum is also a must (Taidemuseo, Marela and Vanha Raatihuone/art museum, Marela and old Town hall) and buying a trio ticket is only 8€.

We've been in Syväraumankatu twice now – with a little child. We love the place and will surely come again. The owner is very friendly and the traditional wooden house feels exactly like what Finland should be (in my opinion) – in contrast to the multitude of "luxurious" accommodations that were created in the last few years.

I didn't have much time to explore the city, but the evening was perfect to walk around the old historic wooden town and enjoy the architecture. Easy to navigate and get around, Rauma is a unique Finnish city and one that I would like to visit again.

Rauma is such a beautiful city!
Rauma is such a beautiful city! We spent just one night there to see a Lukko Rauma game, unfortunately we couldn't stay longer. This city is all about the old town's architecture and coziness. I'd recommend it to everyone who likes this kind of experience. Rauma is not really about partying all night or comparable to the big city life.

The old town is a highlight, but we arrived on Sunday afternoon and so could not enter the old church and almost every shop was closed. Usually we wish for less people during our travels, but Sunday is not good for seeing the old town

The property was almost all that I wanted for my short stay in the charming town of Rauma. It is centrally located, there are more than enough restaurants and shops within easy walking distance as well as the famous Rauma old town. The room itself was simple, but quite satisfactory as well as the bathroom. The breakfast was very good and overall conclusion is that Raumanlinna can be easily recommended to any not so demanding guest to Rauma.
Beautiful, well-equipped and cosy apartment just outside Rauma.
While the building from the outside is just an apartment block, it's very cosy and pretty once you're inside and both the view from the room and the rooftop are amazing!
Helena is a great host, very helpful and easy to contact.
Couldn't have wished for a better home away from home.
The location was good, walking distance to the old city centre. We were able to check in before the announced time. Breakfast was in the hotel in next building. To the location it was ok price for the service but generally compared to other towns in Finland it was over priced. Decent accommodation for budget travellers and one night stays.
Wonderful apartment, spacious and bright, well furnished with style. Very confortable beds. The balcony overlooks the garden among the trees, the ideal place to relax drinking a cup of tea. Very close to the center of Rauma with its colourful old wooden houses, a must to visit.
The host, mrs Evelina, so kind and friendly.
Breakfast was simple but good.
Gym was a full scale gym, perfect!
Very friendly staff, I was late fot the check-in and was called by the frontdesk with detailed description how to get in by myself. I lost my wallet on the ferry, but it was no problem to pay by bank transfer.
Hotel is close by the port.
A stylish hotel in the middle of historic old Rauma. A young team will be present throughout the weekend. Some are trainees and some are already a little more experienced. Absolutely great service. The attitude was relaxed but at the same time polite, the friendliness and expertise made an impression.
location was really good cool and calm
breakfast was moderate
they did not mention the restaurant was closed prior to booking the hotel
so had to run out for a late lunch
check out receptionist was friendly
toilet was clean though
bed was soft and good
Very large room with queen bed, desk, sofa group, very large TV. No A/C - this was the only downside as it was unseasonably warm during our stay. Breakfast was good, and the hotel restaurant was fantastic (limited daily menu, though).
We were upgraded to the hotel that runs the BB which was great because the room was really big and very nice. Breakfast was really good with a very large variety of dishes. It was very quiet and really close to the town center.
Breakfast was ok, although simpler than in Finland in general. All the food fresh and tasty. Location of the hotel is superb, just a 5 minutes walk from old town. Free parking available at the back of the hotel.
The hotel looks a bit tired from the outside, bit inside the rooms are nice, breakfast was good, and the staff were friendly. Its also in a lovely location beside a park on the edge of the old town.
