The whole experience was amazing. I’m only sorry we didn’t catch the name of the lovely lady who was clearly in charge and who served us our lunch, checked us into our room and served us breakfast the next day. She honestly could not have done enough for us. We didn’t get our hot air balloon ride which is why we booked the hotel but despite this we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and felt very well looked after. The food was also spot on

Very friendly staff and very helpful. We were at a wedding a few miles down the road and couldn’t make check in on time. When I called to explain, the person on the other end of the phone was more than helpful and allowed us to turn up a bit later than what was supposed to be the time.
The room we got was also very comfortable. It had one double bed and a set of bunk beds along with a very spacious bathroom.
The full Scottish fry up was also a delight in the morning after a night at a wedding!

We all loved staying at this apartment. The kitchen is equipped well enough for a short stay property , the beds are comfy and there are direct trains to Edin and Glasgow. Definitely recommend it and would stay again!
We had a very nice time in B and B nr 4 . The bed slept very well. The bathroom was big and only for us. Tip: if you have time go to the puppet theater. It is beautiful just as the Museum. And for a nice dinner we recommend The Crown.

A lovely town surrounded by beautiful countryside - a bit like stepping back in time - One gets a feeling little has changed over the years - Some wonderful surprises however as there is a new cafe on the high street - fabulous food and ambience - delicious coffee - Lack of a proper sign would have you walk by if you're not paying attention! An exceptional bookshop and some wonderful craft shops are worth checking out - including a very interesting gallery/ clothes shop full of colourful murals and state of the art crafts and cards. A good mix of old and new!

Lovely wee town, plenty places to eat, have coffee or a drink and we went a lovely walk down past the pharmacy and past the schools, takes you down past the golf course to a little boating pond you can walk around and come back the other side of the golf course. Recommended to us by the guy in the Elphenstone Hotel.

We were quite late arriving but we were still welcomed and shown to our lovely, bright, large room. There was a fridge with milk and water in, which for me was great as I dislike the little pods of milk. Plenty of tea, coffee and biscuits too. The bed was very comfortable and we enjoyed our breakfast. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. The Crown pub was a cosy place for a drink.

A lovely little gem.
A lovely little gem. Lots of interesting shops cafes bars and restaurants. Great views to the surrounding hills. The Bigger and Clydesdale museum is well worth a visit. We spent a lot of time in there. Particularly liked the old street and there is lots of information on the origins and history of the town. The Cross Keys was full of friendly locals and a lovely friendly barmaid and the food was good in the Elphinstone and the Barony. Highly recommend a visit to Biggar.
Charles and Jane were incredibly welcoming and made everything easy and stress free.
Our room was just what we needed for a two night stay in Biggar for a wedding at Cornhill Castle: comfy, with a private bathroom and the perfect size to get "wedding ready".
The location is also brilliant, with free parking on the High Street less than a minute walk from the B&B.
10/10 would recommend. Thanks again for having us!
Lovely room in a beautiful house with an amazing host! Would recommend to anyone needing to stay in the area. The bed was so comfortable and it was so quiet and peaceful overnight I had an amazing sleep. The host was so welcoming I honestly felt like I was speaking with a family member, made me feel so at home and could not have been more helpful. Literally feel like it was such a bargain.
The property is absolutely stunning, and the facilities they offer are truly amazing. The rooms are beautifully furnished and maintained to an impressive standard. The value for the price is truly remarkable.
Despite these minor issues, my overall stay was enjoyable, and I would certainly consider staying at this hotel again in the future.
My partner and I always enjoy visiting Biggar, so we loved staying within walking distance of the shops. The studio was nice, cozy, and in a nice, quiet location. The host put great thought into making our stay comfortable by providing a great selection of items for breakfast and stocking the studio with everything we needed during our stay.
Very clean and well appointed property with ample parking.
Nice touches like milk, butter, bread and tea and coffee provided along with dishwasher tabs, washing powder etc
Comfy beds, fluffy towels an bathrobe’s also provided.
Biggar itself offers multiple places to eat and a decent Spar.
Wiould stay again without hesitation.
Very good value for the price. Much cheaper than staying in Edinburgh if you don't mind travelling a wee bit. Room was cool and comfy. Staff were friendly and happy to help. Breakfast was great too. Lots of choice and decent coffee. Nice to have a wee fridge with fresh milk in the room too. Wish more Hotels did this.
Great location, ideal for Cornhill house to attend a wedding. Short taxi ride using Big Red taxis reliable and very friendly as was all the hotel staff. Ate in the restaurant for dinner and breakfast. Great choice and very good food and drinks.
Will use again with no hesitation
The full breakfast was delicious well cooked. The service was fast. All the staff at the hotel were very friendly and helpful during our stay and made you feel welcome. The bedroom was cosy and clean and beds very comfortable. Great location to stay to explore the area
Beautiful house with tasteful decor and very homely. Spotless and extremely comfortable. Would have loved to stay longer but hope to go back in the future. This property certainly is a little gem right in the heart of Biggar.
Charles, the owner, went out of his way to look after us, despite us only staying for one night. Very comfortable and really close to the main street in Biggar. I'd recommend staying here.
Charles was a lovely host and the room and bathroom were spacious and clean.
The location is right in the centre of Biggar making it easy to get to with plenty of free parking.
