All of the staff we came in contact with gave excellent service, bar people, restaurant people, housekeeping, breakfast staff and the check in. The breakfast was great value.

I have stayed in the Mash Tun on numerous occasions and always have enjoyed my stay, due to the friendliness of staff etc. and the excellent food and room comfort.
However on this recent visit, the only positive was the room comfort.

Linda was a fantastic host. She couldn't have been more attentive. Lovely lady! Beautiful house, room was immaculate and comfortable. and Breakfast was amazing! Thank you so so much Linda!
Craigallachie itself is very small. If you are out and about in the car it is perfect for you. The Highlander Inn was a great place to eat. Aberlour just 2 miles away was in walking distance and the walk along the river was nice. You had to walk along the main road to get to the path though. The cottage is just off the main road but it is quite peaceful. You don`t hear the traffic inside really. Unfortunately we didn`t get to many tourist places as they were still closed.

Close to lots of things to do indoors and out.
Close to lots of things to do indoors and out. Enjoyed the trip even though most of the distilleries were closed. Had a great visit to the cooperage and lots of walks which were accessible and manageable by us.

Very relaxed and relaxing.
Very relaxed and relaxing. Friendly laid back staff, no fuss about checkin or checkout times, or about dogs being a bit boisterous. The restaurant is informal, in a bar setting, and the food was good standard. Lovely walks nearby, just right for a short winter break with roaring log fire and a cosy whisky bar.

A relaxing stay but we did have to eat in more than anticipated as it was difficult to get booked in to any of the local restaurants/pubs. We managed to get booked in to the Copper Dog on our last night and really enjoyed it.
The staff were so friendly and welcoming. The location, being so close to the Speyside Way is absolutely perfect for a walk and also if you have a dog. The wonderful example of Thomas Telford’s engineering - the Spey Bridge at Craigellachie is also a short walk from the Highlander Inn. The food and the vast selection of malt whiskies was just a delight. This will now be our preferred place to stay when visiting the Speyside area.
I don't normally bother with reviews but this place was worth it. Beautiful boutique hotel in an old manor house. The room was updated but maintained its historical charm. Dinner at the in-house restaurant was fantastic. Finished the night with a few drams in the well-stocked bar (great selection of local distillers) where the owner was very knowledgable and happy to make recommendations. Would happily return.
The breakfast was excellent and had a great variety of menu items to choose from. The hotel was located in a beautifully restored old building with tons of character. When we checked in, they gave us old-fashioned keys to our rooms. The beds were so comfortable and the rooms spacious and clean. I loved that you could walk on the nearby trails to the famous bridge over the river.
Exceptional! Great location, food and above all the Whisky bar is the best I have been all my life. Rooms are very clean and spacious. If you plan to visit the Speyside for the Whisky trail or anything else, I highly recommend this hotel. Price maybe higher than most hotels but its really worth it
Wonderful hotel and staff are very helpful and friendly. We really enjoyed my partners birthday party held in the copper dog private room.
We loved it more as we could have our dogs there too.
Easy access to senic walks in the surrounding area. Looking forward to going back.
The property was gorgeous. The owners were very friendly and welcoming. Our room was beautifully decorated and the bathroom made us feel like we are at a luxury spa. The homemade pizzas are also quite delicious
Beautiful property with very good location in Craigellachie. Very warm staff. Large and comfortable rooms. Delicious breakfast and also purchased nice sack lunches. Really enjoyed our stay.
manager was lovely, very friendly and helpful. room was comfortable, especially liked the dark curtains. great whisky bar with entertaining staff, good breakfast with delicious coffee
location great for Whisky Trail exploring. Scott and Julie are wonderful hosts. Breakfast delicious with lots of choices. it was helpful that they offered snacks and light meals.
Great location for Whisky distilleries touring. Hotel room was comfortable and snug. A bit dated furnishing. Great whisky bar but pricey. Breakfast options were ok. Free parking.
Great location and setting. We enjoyed hiking the Spey Trail. The facility is charming, including the excellent Spey Inn bar and restaurant and the Whisky Bar on the main floor.
