Arriving on a saturday meant that there are no breakfast arrangements at the hotel. New Brighton seems to be shut early week and bank holidays so breakfasts had to be hunted down. Would be handy if the hotel could provide some info about local breakfasts and days of the week.

Great Meols has a nice it down with old of shops,the sea and beach are about 30minutes walk through some nice estates,the beech at Meols is very flat this area is popular for twitches because of all bird's that visit.It has a great parade that stretches to Hoylake the sand is great for the kids and their is a Lifeboat station there.Meols Parade is good for cyclists as well they can get to New Brighton.
