Lovely friendly welcome. Showed us to our room, explained all we needed to know about our stay, helped us find a taxi for a very early trip to the airport the following morning and recommended what turned out to be a very good pub for food within walking distance for our evening meal. Brilliant location for getting to Liverpool John Lennon Airport and very pretty, scenic area. Will definitely stay here again if we have flights from Liverpool airport in the future.

They gave us the wrong room and it was an awful hotel/rooms. We booked a family room with 2 single beds, a sofa bed and a family bathroom. We opened the door and it was a tiny box room with one single bed no bathroom. The bathroom was shared on the hall with the other rooms. We obviously couldn't stay as there was 3 of us. It only catered for one. There was no reception. I couldn't phone them there was no phone number. We got the key from the people texting us the code for the box on the wall outside. It was an old run down shut pub. The rooms were 2 steep flights if stairs no lifts. The hall stair landing was awful. I would not put a fly in there for the night. I want a total refund as they made the mistake. I took photos to prove it too. It cost us nearly 92 pounds and I expect to get a full refund through booking. Com because your have got this so called hotel/ rooms on your website so it should give you what you have paid for. Please let me know when you will give me my full refund. It spoiled the whole day in Liverpool for all 3 of us. We were looking forward to stopping in Liverpool. We went straight home to Warwick instead. It was not acceptable.

Lovely comfortable bed that didn’t move around all over the place like many hotel beds seem to do. There was even a pillow menu so there’s no way you wouldn’t be comfy. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Chairs and desks were available, bathroom was large and fully stocked with toiletries, plenty of hot water. Room service was exceptional, especially the chicken wings. Large TV which was lovely. Extremely good location for the airport. Extremely quiet and soundproof, we couldn’t hear a peep from other rooms. Cute chocolates on arrival. Plenty of places to charge mobile phones etc. Mini fridge and kettle with hot drinks provided including galaxy hot chocolates which were lovely.

We stayed over on the way back from the Lake District so we could spend a day at Chester zoo.
We did go to a local Morrisons for breakfast before going the Zoo and we was also able to get food delivered to the bed and breakfast via just eat.

A lovely village, very friendly local people, with everything going off. Amenities available, shops, pub, park, village hall plus loads more. Very central to a major city, with the remoteness of a village and central access to the fantastic Wirral Peninsula.

Nice pub in the village for dinner.
Nice pub in the village for dinner. Quiet location but close to Runcorn. Roadworks are a bit of a nightmare getting from Runcorn to Hale however Google maps are more up to date than sat-nav for the new bridge. Toll on the bridge must be paid on the internet but has easy to follow instructions, £2.00.

Can’t talk fairly as I used to live there - I was even married in the church. There’s two pubs which do food, nice walks, local beach....
I really love the place but I guess I would say that wouldn’t I ??
The cottage was so pretty, it is the quintessential English country cottage. The history of the house is unique and interesting being the home of the childe of Hale. It has a very nice atmosphere, we felt very safe and comfortable during our stay. Our hosts were fantastic, Julie went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed, she was amazing! We loved seeing the ponies grazing in the paddock while I baked a cake. We will be definitely staying again in this lovely cottage.
Liked everything about our stay. Maureen and Richard very friendly and welcoming hosts.
Church End Farm Bed and Breakfast, situated in a smashing little village of Hale.
Two pubs and shops within walking distance, local bus service every hour to centre of Liverpool.
Room was very clean and tidy, very warm and comfortable.
We had en-suite room, wi-fi tea and coffee facilities, tv.
Breakfast best meal of the day, absolutely gorgeous.
Maureen couldn’t have been more welcoming and Hale is a delightful village with a fascinating history. We had time to pop to nearby Speke Hall which is incredible. Church End Farm is very comfortable with spacious rooms and a lovely garden. Breakfast was delicious and generous. Fantastic value for money and just across the road from the pub!
Hosts went out of their way to please. Much better than a hotel room because of the different rooms on the property allowing us each to be getting on with individual activities or a lovely cosy sitting room where we cd all get together in comfort. Was exceptionally clean and smelled fresh. Ditto with the linen.
EVERYTHING!!
This is lovely property and I have no hesitation in providing this recommendation. Lovely hosts and the property hade everything that anyone would need for a stay. La casita is in a very nice area and it was a pleasure to walk to Hale Village and chat to some local people.
In terms of location, this place is great for the LJL airport. I was visiting friends who live in Halewood which was a 6 minute drive.
Facilities were fine, my room was small but perfectly formed and the breakfast box was fab.
Accepts pets, which is great.
Great little B&B, really friendly host. Booked this B&B by mistake booking the wrong Hale but very happy with the mistake. Lovely little village with a nice walk with great views of the Mersey and quirky history. Highly recommend a visit.
Convenience (very close to Liverpool Airport), friendly host, modern bathroom (shared in this case with our friends). The nearby Hale village is very charming with a great pub (The Childe of Hale) for an evening meal.
The hotel is located very close to the Liverpool John Lennon airport, which is the primary reason I booked it. The rooms were very clean, and the shower was a nice size. The staff was friendly and helpful.
Ian was a great host, and his recommendations to have dinner at the Childe of Hale pub was excellent. This is definitely a place I would stay at again and have already recommended it to family and friends.
It was like a 5 star hotel on a small scale. Cleanliness 10/10. Host 10/10 So helpful and welcoming. A credit to the hotel industry.
Would recommend it 100%
