The hotel was very central in Dartmouth. Although there was no parking at the hotel during the day there was plenty of overnight free parking from 6pm to 9am very close to the hotel. Breakfast was lovely and a dog goody bag was a very nice touch. Room was well furnished with Elemis toiletries and refreshments.

Breakfast was ok. The items ordered, didn't arrive on one of the orders (3 items - 2 arrived) not rocket science. Staff friendly and efficient.

The breakfast was all served to the table and the choice was plentiful. The location of the hotel is not on the seafront but a short easy walk. The staff are all very helpful and friendly. My bathroom was quite big and looked fresh and new! Lovely hot shower.

Initial reception and staff very good throughout our stay. Room and breakfast very good. Closeness to embankment and shops very good. Parking arrangements good. It was a great asset to be able to take our dog. The gluten free awareness and options were commendable
Jazz evening excellent.

Kingswear was perfect for us, Waterview House was exactly right for us and very well equipped with everything needed, not much to do in Kingswere but plenty in Dartmouth opposite just across the river which is a short ferry ride away.

The main point for us was closeness to Dartmouth by ferry.
The main point for us was closeness to Dartmouth by ferry. In other words, enjoy Dartmouth but live elsewhere, with a lovely connection between the two by boat.
The steam train was also lovely. but the destination (Paignton) awful.
Lovely views of the marina and the multitude of ships' masts.
The weather was pretty appalling for the three days we were there, which may colour our reflections!

We stayed on the Dartmouth side of the river.
We stayed on the Dartmouth side of the river. The views were spectacular across the river Dart and also out to sea. I hadn;t realised that this port was so steeped in history. some of the tudor buildings were very colourful with family crests painted on in bright colours. we also did a river cruise which is well worth it and saw Agatha Christie's house. we also took the car and foot ferry across to Kingswear and took a ride on the old steam train to Paignton. on one day I took time to walk into Dartmouth and had a good look round. i found a lovely coffee shop tucked away off the main roads, I also went to the craft market. Lots of galleries and souvenier shops. We visited the seven stars being oldest pub and the cherub which is the oldest building. Food is good too we ate at the Royal Castle Hotel. You have to be quick to book as everything was full. well worth going and i will be back asap.
