Peaceful area, lovely hosts. I was leaving early in the morning, so having the take away continental breakfast was amazing and very tasty.

The Hinds Head is a great place to stay. The rooms are very spacious, clean and lovely linen. The staff are so friendly and accommodating. We enjoyed a delicious meal in the restaurant and loved the beer garden.

The outstanding feature of this hotel is the helpfulness of the staff. Although there is no traditional reception, I met far more staff than usual at a hotel. Steph and Layla helped me settle in and the cleaning ladies stocked up the rapidly depleted biscuits. I also had a chat with the manageress. So the staff were really welcoming, and reflected the friendly behaviour of Preston people. This hotel is perfect if you need to be in Preston centre near the railway.

The location was ideal for what I wanted as I needed to attend some performances held on the Market Square in Preston City Centre.
I like the self check-in side of things, as it allowed independence.
It was also very near to the train station and the lovely little park in front of the building was ideal to relax and enjoy the sunshine.

Accommodation was A1 but it could be improved by having more twin rooms available.
All staff were extremely courteous and helpful
Easy to get around Leyland if you follow Sat Nav advice.
It is the middle of winter in inclement weather so can’t really judge the activities available.

We loved everything about r stay .
We loved everything about r stay . Great hamper provided and Trisha was only a text away if we needed anything. The house was amazing very clean and tidy and very stylish decore and furnishings . I would recommend staying here we loved our stay and look forward to returning next year.
Very comfortable beds!! I have arthritis and I’ve never been so comfortable in a hotel bed than there! Lovely spacious room, even better than in the photos provided.
The hotel is situated on a farm. So much to see, lovely walks, and you can feed the ducks and fish. The donkeys and ponies seem to be very well cared for. It was a lovely experience and the staff were so welcoming in the evening when we arrived late. We’ll definitely be back! Thank you!
The ability for 7 of us to sit around a table for a meal. Proximity to Leyland, where we were attending a function. Staff at the booking agency were pleasant and helpful and arranged for someone to provide us with an extra 5 mugs, enough cutlery for 7 and a dish-cloth and t-towel.
There is a large garden area, which we didn't use as we visited in February, but it would be a good, enclosed outdoor space in summer.
We were impressed with this house. We found it to be comfortable, and well-equipped, and it has a homely feel. It was very clean too. It is conveniently located for Leyland town-centre, being only 10 minutes or so walk. The owner was very helpful, and quick to respond to the questions I submitted prior to arrival. We were only staying one night but would happily have stayed for longer. Strongly recommended.
The room size was very spacious. As was the bathroom very spacious. We had the Lakeview and patio doors. Bed was very comfortable plenty storage space for clothes.
Very convenient location for where we was going, Leyland golf club.
We loved staying in the pod and in the hotel rooms lovely lovely views of the lake staff where very helpful an friendly and couldn't do enough to help us made us feel at home too would deffo recommend and go back in the future
Literally THE best location. Amazing surroundings with a beautiful lake, ducks, fish and greenery. Beds are the comfiest hotel beds I’ve slept in. And the salt n pepper chips are AMAZING.
Excellent breakfast, freshly prepared. We liked the atmosphere - old building, old cars, fine metalwork decoration. Location was just right for us to attend a funeral in Leyland.
The hotel is set in lovely surroundings with a lake. Their is an on-site bar and restaurant. Plenty of parking spaces. Only 5 minutes by car in to the town centre.
