Breakfast was good except for the Tea and Coffee. Both the tea and the coffee - which are essential elements of breakfast - were of the poorest quality. The coffee tasted like chicory and the tea like floor sweepings. Very disappointing. The Woodshed, where we had pizza the evening we arrived was fine but understaffed. The ludicrous rule that children weren't allowed there after 8pm made for an unpleasant start to our family break.

Lovely spacious rooms, great parking for the motorcycles, great shower, fantastic location just a few minutes walk into town. The reception staff were just lovely too.

Cairngorm Suite totally exceeded our expectations - the apartment was extremely spacious, clean and had all possible facilities, location was peaceful and close to shops/ restaurants and all the information was provided prior to arrival.

In Cairngorm National Park, The Boat Country Inn and Restaurant has a restaurant, Wi-Fi access and elegant rooms. Aviemore can be reached in 10 minutes by car.

Have stayed at the Boat many times in previous years. However it seems like there has been a step change in the quality of everything. When getting to the hotel was warmly welcomed and staff all very helpful. This just continued in the two days I was there. I hope it is on an upward curve again.
