Quality of restaurant was good. Down side was limited menu and less than average value for money.

The chalet is perfectly situated, a short stroll away from stunning Durdle Door. The chalet is also a slightly longer but beautiful scenic walk to Lulworth Cove, making spontaneous beach trips a must do when staying here. We really felt like we were in the prime location for site seeing.
The chalet itself is cozy yet spacious, offering a lovely decking area and modern well maintained interiors. The chalet is equipped with everything you need for a comfortable stay and has tonnes of storage space. The kids also loved the woodland play park on the site. The owner gave really clear detailed instructions making the stay very easy.

What a lovely experience we had staying at Ballantrae. The property was cosy and welcoming, very clean and comfortable. The location is also excellent, on a quiet street, within short walking distance to the train/bus station, shops and the local pub which we found to be superb. We were also kindly provided with a kettle, a mini fridge, TV and fresh water/snacks every day. We did also enjoy reading the Welcome booklet very much upon arrival, so nicely put together 😃 Shower was sparkling clean and working perfectly. Bed was comfortable. Last but not least, the price was very affordable. Everything was great really. We would definitely like to stay at Ballantrae again when in Dorset. Thank you very much Shaun.
Loved our hotel and the location. Food at the Limestone Hotel was amazing. Best we have had in our UK trip so far. Can’t beat the size and quality of our accommodation at the Limestone Hotel in such a lovely Inn/Hotel. I would rate it right up there with the best. Beach and walks so beautiful. Easy to walk around. Disliked the bus loads and hoards of day trip tourists. Next time I would avoid the bank holiday weekend. Definitely a weekday stay would be better.

If you stay at Lulworth cove Inn , (as I say in previous review) go out at night and listen to the Tawny owls. Also, visit Lulworth cove at night because when there is no one there its quite amazing having it to yourself, its extremely dramatic in the dark. We went in January so after dark the place was deserted which we loved. Also , if you open your bedroom window in the hotel you can hear the owls and the sea.

Stunning location, perfect for beach strolls and hilly and clifftop walks with beautiful views, whatever the weather. Dogs welcome everywhere. Durdle Door is an easy, if steep, walk over the hilltop. Corfe Castle, Kimmeridge Bay and Studland Bay are all short drives away. Avoid high season, its gets extremely busy. Also be aware that the Army Ranges can close from time to time, some some roads can close and walks be restricted.

a lovely little place, we will visit everyday if we could!
a lovely little place, we will visit everyday if we could! amazing scenery, food, ice cream especially, people, everything! plenty of things to do such as swimming, sightseeing, boat trips, paddle boarding/kayaking, or even just laying in the sun.
My partner and I absolutely loved this property. The location is perfect for exploring the local area, the accommodation was really clean and comfortable and the staff could not have been any more friendly and helpful. There was plenty choice of amazing quality food and drink, both for dinner and breakfast. I especially loved the gluggle jugs on the tables too, a very nice touch.
I liked that we received the same service on our first day as we did on our last, and could not recommend this place any more.
Lovely room in a fabulous location. Check in was quick and we had plenty of time to relax before our evening meal at the Hotel. The staff were friendly and efficient. There was a good choice of local beers and ciders . The food was well presented and tasty. I had a steak pie with chips and red cabbage.Perfect after a day on the coast path.
Breakfast was equally good with a wide choice.
We would definitely return when next in the area.
We had an absolutely fabulous time in this lovely B&B, it's a perfect location to explore a stunning part of Dorset from - easy to access by bus from nearby towns (we took the train to and from Wool), Lulworth Cove is a 10 minute walk, Durdle Door is another 30 mins from there. Room was spacious, bright and very comfy, breakfast was fabulous as well, we could choose from different options.
Short one night stay on a mini trip and was met and greeted by a very friendly & helpful reception, with nothing being too much trouble. A really good night sleep in a very welcome firm comfortable room, followed with a really good breakfast setting you up for the day to come. Would certainly recommend a stay at Limestone hotel, if your visiting the area.
The location of the Limestone Hotel is perfect for walking the South West Coast Path. The hotel offers lovely views across the village from an elevated position. Breakfast and dinner is amazing. Nothing seems to be too much trouble at the Limestone. Definitely recommend to family and friends. A hidden gem of a hotel.
All the staff were friendly and made us feel welcome, the view from our room was lovely and the surrounding area was beautiful. We liked the outdoor terrace area and although very busy we were always able to find somewhere to sit. Very dog friendly which is important to us as we take our dog everywhere with us.
Quiet, beautiful scenery and vigorous walking trails worth the trek. Bed was comfy for a good nights sleep. View of the cove from my window added to calmness and tranquility especially in evenings. Breakfast variety was good. Hotel amenities and products were great- made my skin feel great.
Great location and very comfortable accommodation.
Dinner and breakfast were both delicious.
Staff were very helpful especially the super cheerful and helpful Chelsea who went above and beyond for us.
Excellent location staff where wonderful and very helpful breakfast was very good and quick
Staff helpful and very friendly
Easy walk to limestone cove
Lovely areas to sit out and view the scenery
if I could give this place 11/10 I would. Lulworth cove is one of the most magical places in England and this hotel is so charming and friendly and comfortable it really adds to the magic.
The property was a lovely old house in a very pretty town. A short walk from a couple of pub/restaurants and Lulworth cove. Diane and Nigel were excellent hosts.
