The area is really nice and plenty of choice for social interaction even a cinema, excellent public transport. The people were friendly in surrounding area. We had drinks in Weavers pub very livley and staff pleasant, local shops for provisions opened late.in evenings, had lunch in Cafe / restaurant besie Tesco express ,fab food and reasonably priced ,staff were lovley and pleasant.

We were so impressed we book for another night, however due to not being able to leave the hospital that night we didn’t arrive, when we phoned in the morning to let the staff know, they said we could still turn up for breakfast, but we were still unable to leave. We were completely surprised by the excellent service provided by one of the owners, Andrew and the quality of the breakfast provided. The room was outstanding - brand new with great amenities, clean and quiet. The hot towels and a fog free mirror were an added bonus. And it has a great pub!
