For the price I expected a small functional room with bathroom. I got that. I didn't expect frills. I hoped it would be clean, and it was very clean. I feared it might be noisy from the pub below, but I didn't hear a thing all night. Crucially the aircon worked on a hot night. Not much need for interaction with Reception but the staff in the pub were friendly and helpful.

Clean sheets. Welcomed. Great breakfast. Staff were good, hard working and attentive. Convenient for my family visit so quality didn't affect my stay.

Just a short walk from the centre of this market town and only 500 metres from Chesterfield Railway Station, the ibis Chesterfield Centre – Market Town offers free private parking and good value.
