Very nice room, clean and comfortable with everything I needed. The WiFi worked, perhaps not a strong a signal as I would have liked. The bar area functioned well, I did not eat there, so cannot comment on the food.

Recently stayed here for 2 nights , yes the hotel is dated but the room was very clean , and the bar area and outside beer garden is exceptional , the bar man Phil went above and beyond to make me happy he made my stay that little bit better thank you x

Perfect location for the Tall Ships/Shanty festival. Basic…a little ‘tired’ but clean! Host was super welcoming and friendly. Was lovely having a spot of fresh milk in fridge on arrival. Also microwave in room with crockery/cutlery that folk might find useful…we didn’t use..but we thought it was a nice touch.
