Property was good but due to the public house having a racing day and night was very noisy

Great location for our work, clean and homely and smelt lovely.
Quietly situated in one of Cirencester’s oldest streets, this delightful, privately owned hotel and restaurant is just 5 minutes’ walk from the town centre.

We booked 5 rooms for group of friends. We were greeted by the owner who was so friendly and helpful and took our bags to our rooms.
Excellent location, rooms were clean and very comfortable. Nothing was too much trouble.

The location was fantastic in the heart of Cirencester. The hotel is really nice.
The review is reflective of the service received on check out and the AC unit not working during the stay.

The area is a very outdoors type of holiday and great if you love walking. It has been very wet weather so some areas were very muddy, so we didn't get to do some walks and explore the area as much as we would have liked. The roads can be quite busy, but once you get away from the roads it is lovely and scenic. It is not well mapped out and we were unsure where to park up to explore some areas.

South Cerney was ideal place for children and also everywhere catered for dogs.
We were out of main school holidays so it was quieter and not everywhere open.
Our accommodation overlooked Spring Lake which was beautiful. A car is definitely required to travel around.

Really enjoyed the hot tub. A comfortable place to stay.
Really enjoyed the hot tub. A comfortable place to stay.
It was all lovely and clean and there was no evidence of previous dogs. Our elderly spaniel found the steps a bit challenging and slippery. He loved the walk around the lake.
Lots to see and do on the park and in the area. South Cerney is an easy walk with good pubs. Food at the Old George Inn is excellent.

The area of South Cerney being in the middle of Cotswold Water park was full of activities and places to visit. Of course, these activities are mostly water based but if that is your thing then brilliant,
Cirencester which is a charming little town is just a few minutes down the road also.

Clean and tidy resort with lots to do, specially if you have children. The resort however is tired and run down, it’s dog friendly as long as you don’t want to have an evening meal there as the restaurant is not dog friendly and you are limited to the cafe where the food is just awful they described the menu as bar bites, if you like 3 chicken nuggets then great so we had to drive off site to eat at local pubs. The fishing lakes need maintenance lots of weeds over grown, such a shame as it could be amazing. If I was a holiday home owner I’d be getting worried, this place could be amazing but it’s time for some investment!!
The location was heavenly. The house was perfect… modern yet possessing a definite warm cottage feeling. It felt spacious, clean and happy! It is on the lake and the immediate surroundings are tranquil and very pretty. It has all essential appliances which have been carefully selected for their quality and optical appeal. We fell in love with the house!!
1st rate self catering...could get supermarket food delivered if required. We visited The Royal Oak nearby by car and also The Old Boat House Inn and food was great. Lovely quiet location overlooking lake. Sports or watersports facilities or spa all local. Beds comfy.
Lots of parking.
Pleased to find an extension lead for the raclette as we had forgotten it.
Great idea having a hose outside for muddy dogs and people
Spacious, light and quiet.
Lots of kitchen cupboard space
Lots of pots and pans
Well equipped and spotlessly clean. Everything had been thought about. Lovely owner greeted us. Comfy sofas and lovely terrace. Cooked easily with excellent kitchen. Shower was better than some in a five star hotel!
Booked on very short notice due to issue with another booking nearby, owners were very quick to arrange our stay and provide access details which was great. Accommodation is great in lovely surroundings.
property is in a fantastic location over looking a fishing lake whilst being next door to a lovely restaurant. amazing place for dogs with plenty of space available around the lodges.
The property was exceptionally clean and well appointed with all items required for your stay. The adults beds were very comfortable and rooms spacious.
