There are a lot of boarded up shops obviously the impact post Covid many businesses have Closed. The railway station from which I embarked was a disgrace no adequate disability access particularly for visual or hearing impairment , if you have to get across the tracks to access the platform for the return trip. no toilet. Generally looks a very unloved station so not a good way to be greeted when you arrive but generally there are still a good range of shops tea rooms and places to eat.

Nice setting, and plenty of good restaurants.
Nice setting, and plenty of good restaurants. Terrible for parking. Seems to be an important money maker for town to issue parking tickets at first break of daylight. Had two parking tickets in 5 days although parking in what looked like free parking. Second time was only for 5 minutes while loading the car, going home.

We tend to visit Tenby out of season as in mid-summer, with the schools off it would be very busy. Nice little town overlooking two great beaches. South beach is huge when the tide is out. Plenty of pubs/cafés etc. though in high season I suggest booking ahead for tables if you can. Spring 2024 taxi trips within the town area are £5.00.

Location is great, only a short walk into Tenby. Quiet area so no noise during the night. Spa facilities great, only two other couples were using the spa during our slot so no overcrowding. Hotel is kept lovely, room was a really high standard. Staff were all friendly and we didn’t have to ask for anything. Robes and water waiting for us in the room. Good toiletries provided. Lovely gentleman taking care of us in the restaurant in the evening.
Great location on the seafront, with a stunning sea view from our bedroom over the beach and across to Caldey island
Room was very comfortable
Breakfast was delcious - we enjoyed the seagull on our windsill who came to watch - but don't feed him !
Town is a short walk away to go for dinner etc. or walk round the harbour or on the beach
Tenby is one of the most lovely towns in Britain.
Hotel was overpriced £152 for the night ,, no breakfast ,, no tea or coffee in room ,, poor staff ,, booked with parking ,, no parking no organisation ,,, hotel in dire need of upgrading ,, room was basic and sort of clean considering a superior room very basic ,, only good thing was location ,,, avoid if at all possible ,,, for that price expected a lot better !!!!!!!!!
We had a lovely stay. The location between Tenby and Saundersfoot was great as you could walk to either town. The hosts were friendly and welcoming and gave excellent advice about what we could do in the area. The room and ensuite were modern and clean. The breakfast was delicious with a great variety of options available. We would highly recommend Pen Mar.
Loved everything about this b&b. Lovely friendly hosts. Excellent food. Stayed in room 3. Very nice big spacious room with a sofa. Got very warm in there but we had a big fan to keep us cool. 5 mins from centre and short walk down to the harbour. If we went to Tenby again would definitely stay at the beachcomber again. Thankyou Sharon & Andrew
We enjoyed the Breakfast and the Dinner choices. All the meals were delicious. The service was very attentive to our needs. The restaurant tables were well spaced out, and the area is well lit with all the glass windows and the glass canopy over it. Very nice cosy Hotel and we thoroughly recommend it for a short break holiday.
Lovely hotel in a pleasant country location whilst still only a short distance to Tenby. Spacious, comfortable room with traditional high beamed ceilings. Good breakfast choice in pleasant, light and airy restaurant.
Staff were pleasant and accommodating at all times. Enjoyed using the spa facility for massages.
Huw is an outstanding host. The location of the Townhouse is unbeatable. We enjoyed calm, clean, comfortable accommodation with wonderful breakfasts for the 3 days we were in Tenby.
Each morning featured a special in addition to the daily menu so there was always something different.
The breakfast was superb, and the hotel had been modernised a little since we last stayed. It is also in a great location near South Beach with parking close by. Lisa and the staff are really friendly and we will definitely stay again.
beautiful room even tho it was slightly dated. The hotel was in a great spot with an exceptional view of Tenby harbour. staff were extremely kind and easy to approach. breakfast was decent with good variety.
We truly enjoyed our time in Tenby. Apartment is comfortable and well equipped with everything you need, including beach towels. The pool is nice to have just next door. Our family loved the place!
Room ok,comfy bed, facilities were fine, breakfast was nice, parking was always the key though, probably the best and closest hotel to Tenby (15 min walk max) with parking available, massive bonus.
First time to Tenby so we upgraded to a room with a view and we were not disappointed. Great breakfast and staff, close to restaurants and shopping. Walking distance to the train station.
Friendly welcome, a beautiful/interesting room which wasn't too hot despite the 27C temperatures, and a decent location for exploring the area (Tenby, Barafundle Bay etc) by car.
The size of the room was great and the view was superb. A good breakast each morning with friendly and helpful staff. Hotel was also in a good location with parking facilities.
It was right in front of the north beach in Tenby. So full points for the location. The bed was comfortable. They had a mini fan in the room for when it gets hot.
