The host Mike was welcoming and helpful locking away my bike. He made an early breakfast so I could catch a train.
The inside of the building is freshly decorated and in good order, with a comfortable en suite room.
Thirsk town square with all its facilities is only a few minutes walk.
The building has good clear signs so it's easy to find and the car park entrance is clear.
